So hi! I know this isn't one of my usual posts, but I've been using this blog like it's my main one so it's going here! Welcome to my RP Partner search.
About Me/How I Roleplay:
Hello! I'm known as lightsabersandblaster on this blog but I also use SoulFlameSketches, but you're free to call me Soul or Drake. I'm 21 years old, turning 22 soon and I use she/her pronouns!
▶ I only roleplay with those 18+. But NSFW will only be included if my partner is comfortable with it as well. Smut to plot ratio varies, usually dependent on RP Partner.
▶ I typically write Advanced Lit to Novella in 3rd person perspective and past tense. I do my best to be grammatically correct, but I'm human so there's bound to be a mistake or two. Here's my writing samples! (All my samples are star wars at the moment I'm sorry!)
▶ I roleplay on Discord in private servers cause I love organized servers.
▶ I love OOC Chatter with my rp partner! Headcanons, gushing, crying together about the fandom or our RP is the lifeblood of these for me.
▶ I roleplay OC x Canon pairings, always doubling up! I play my Oc and your love interest and vice versa. Most of my pairings are MxF, but I'm happy playing AxA!
▶ I do my best to reply weekly, but life can get hectic and there's likely to be more time between replies. I will do my best to communicate if that's the case.
▶ Messing with canon is one of my favourite things to do, often adding my OC Species into certain fandoms, but I also love discussing AUs especially fix-its

Star Wars
▶ Prequel Era (Including Clone Wars, Bad Batch & Tales of The Jedi), Original Trilogy Era (Including Kenobi), Mandalorian (Currently watching season 3) and Book of Boba Fett. I have 4 OCs (Brainstorming a fifth) and they have various love interests
The Orville
▶ Seen all 3 seasons, currently writing my OC who's paired with Ed Mercer.
My Hero Academia
▶ Currently catching up on the series. If I roleplay this, I would most likely change it to a college/university setting to age up characters. The OC I am currently writing can be paired with Eraserhead, Fatgum or Hawks.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
▶ Infinity Saga with a few Phase 4 additions, like What If..?, No Way Home and Moon Knight. My OC can either be paired with Dr Strange or Bucky Barnes. I will need to rewatch some of the movies if someone wants to roleplay.

I'm mainly using this to try out the poll feature, I found it to be a good opportunity to narrow my scatterbrained self when it comes to writing fics. I know, it should be my choice, but I really cannot make a decision, so tell me so my mindset will hone it on it XD
"My Boy" would feature Crosshair in a scenario like episode 3. He's trying to ignore how much he misses Buir and how isolated he is.
"Peace" is about Buir waking up from a dream...
"Protective Batch" will features the many times in their lives that the batch protected Buir from flirts no matter how many times you tell you can take care of yourself

ooo can I request a small headcanon about buir’s journey on being a parental figure? Like did it come to buir naturally or did buir figure things out along the way?

Becoming Buir (Clone Troopers x Parent!Reader)
I'll give Buir the credit of being awesome in the present, but OH GOD! It was a long journey to become that parent we all know and love.
The Kaminoans had dragged you into their world so you could pay off an old debt and just told you to look after them. 'Them' being a... bunch of kids?? You were pretty much this gif; "I'm not a baby person, I'm a bounty hunter!"
No matter what you said, the long-necks were adamant about your position as the 'caretaker' so you were stuck with the little tykes. They were unsure about you and you were unsure about them, especially since they were a sea of the same face.
A routine soon formed, you guided them to and from their training sessions and just watched, you were a constant presence to the boys. You believed if you could prove yourself useless, then they would let you free.
But... these cadets... these boys... The more time you spent with them, the more you began to care about their progress - about them! You hadn't realised it, but you started giving them in your head so you can pick who was who while watching them train.
You never intended to mention it to them, they still looked at you with suspicion. That was until the day one of the trainers became particularly angry with the cadets, and hit the boy that dared to stand up for himself
"OI!" You screamed, jumping down from your watchtower to rush over. You immediately shoved the trainer away while keeping the cadet behind you. "It's not his fault you suck at training!" and when the trainer tried to approach you again, you held your blaster to his head until he ran from the training room.
When you asked the blonde cadet if he was okay, you accidentally let slip the name you had given him, shocking the young man and embarrassing yourself to the point, you left without a word. But the encounter, also seen by the other cadets, changed the dynamic between you and the boys.
The boy you protected took on the name you gave him with pride. He had run up to you with a big grin on his face while he hugged your waist, proclaiming that Rex was now his name. He was no longer a number. Your heart grew three sizes that day and soon the other cadets came to you as well, announcing the name they gave themselves.
Then they came to you when they were injured or they dragged you to the med bay with them cause the droids scared them. It didn't take long for the name Buir to be thrown around when you entered the room.
You realised the comfort you were becoming for them... it was something you never had growing up, so how could you provide it? You wondered to yourself.
The answer? Through a lot of trial and error. This... parental thing was all new for you and you'd often default to old 'Tough Mandalorian' habits when you were stressed. Every time you seemed to stumble in your role, you kept kicking yourself for it. Then kicking yourself even more as you realised how much you were caring for your role.
Every time you tried to hide away and pick apart how horrible you were as a parent, a janitorial clone was always there to reassure you otherwise. The malformed clone found a different place in your heart as he became your comfort and kept you going.
So no, it wasn't easy, it took so much time to learn, but it was well worth it for the boys you raised. All these men love you and will fight for you because you fought to give them something you didn't have and they'll be forever grateful to you for it.

Pssst! I know have a few WIPs for Aliit 99 already, but what do you guys think of a oneshot about Crosshair during s2 ep3? Crosshair finding himself missing his Buir no matter how hard he tries not to. Flashbacks to moments of just him and Buir and then cutting to when he's alone on the base.
He misses his Buir damnit :((

Kareem + His Armour
It took me too long to realise that Kareem, a medic for the GAR, should probably have a set of armour for the battlefield. Kareem's moved from battalion to battalion depending on where he's needed, so he's gotten to know a lot of clones.
When he got his armour, Kareem wasn't intending to paint his armour, but some of the boys from each battalion tookj it upon themselves to add their own little mark, and Kareem finally added his own marks — the stripes on his biceps are in homage to the rank markings of his home planet.

I see you all out there with your super cool OCs, chomping at the bit to tell the world about them. I want to know. Tell me all the things.
1. What’s your chosen OC’s favorite color? Least favorite?
2. What do they think is their best feature? This can be both physical or personality wise.
3. What is something they are really self-conscious about?
4. What is something that they’re secretly good at? Do they have a hidden talent, such as being a brilliant kazoo player or a master chess wizard?
5. What do they like to do in their free time? Do they have any hobbies? Do they even have free time?
6. What is something they are absolutely hopeless at doing? Why?
7. Who is your OC’s best friend? How did they meet?
8. Who is your OC’s greatest enemy/rival? Why? Is the feeling mutual?

"I'm Lieutenant Vera Gizem, Lord Vader."
Vera Gizem is the human identity that Roksana assumes when she was chosen to go undercover for the rebellion. The Kakorean performed the ritual to contain her soul, allowing her to appear human.
Her job is to collect important infomation for the rebellion. Sending her data to the rebels stationed on her abandoned home planet.
What she didn't expect was Darth Vader to take a special interest in Vera. In his own words, she reminds him of someone - a dead jedi. Roksana's torn between avoiding the Sith, but she also wants to selfishly indulge in the company of her old friend - or was he more to her? Even now?

Thank you for writing allit 99 😭 I’ve never seen a lot of writing with parental/child fics or it does but usually the reader is the child in some cases.
It's my pleasure to write it! It's always a fun outlet for those protective feels for some of my favourite characters >:3
Yeah, I've found that it's hard to envision being a kid again so I indulged in the idea of being the parent. And I'm so glad that people are enjoying the series. I've got a few oneshots in the works, just getting used to a new job at the moment!

How did you come up with the idea of Aliit 99 ?
I was rewatching the Clone Wars episodes that took place on Kamino, and then immediately sobbing over the loss of 99 >:( So I was originally coming up with an OC that was attached to 99.
Then seeing the fanart of 99 with the bad batch added the parental element to Buir. Since 99 couldn't be there for the boys, I decided that someone can, while keeping 99 with them.
While an OC would be fun to have, I don't often write much for my OCs (trying to do some soon, but anyway) so I decided that making Buir a gender neutral mandalorian was so fun. Plus, it's nice writing parent/child dynamics rather than romantic ones when I want to.
Edit: I also just loved the idea off showing the boys being shaped by this parental figure. Like I plan to write about Buir helping each boy become their own.
