all the parts in season 3 where the kids are sneaking out into like mental hospitals or secret creepy rooms with men in tanks in and the people who don’t know accuse them of sneaking out to parties and discos in town are so depressing because like!!! I wish they were!!! they’re 17/18 they should be sneaking out to cool house parties and clubs !!! :(

It’s important to recognise that Barbie (2023) criticises both the patriarchy AND the matriarchy. Yes, the Ken’s are just accessories to the Barbies. Yes, they don’t have any say in the government they live under. That’s the point, you’re supposed to feel awful, you’re supposed to want the Kens to have their own agency, you’re supposed to want equality. The Barbie movie explicitly states that the way Barbie treats Ken is wrong, so much so that once he finds a safe space for his masculinity and individual identity he’s so excited to share it with the other Kens.

But they go overboard and replace a matriarchy with a patriarchy and now the same issue exists but in reverse. That’s the POINT!! THATS THE POINT!!! Barbie is not anti-men it’s pro equality PLEASE understand this

Please forgive me y'all. I just finished all 3 seasons of House of Anubis and I'm in my feels right now 🥺...what's gonna be my life now after I finished watching this silly little kids show. Nothing is gonna ever be as good as this show man. I don't care that it has bad writing or cringey moments, it feels comforting watching it. I watched parts of S1 as a kid but totally forgot it up until S1 was released on Netflix and I binged it like crazy. I brought a Paramount+ subscription just to finish watching it (and for drag race too lol). How am I gonna recover 😭

Things we were robbed of in house of Anubis season 3:

-Eddie and Patricia talking about Eddie being the new leader of sibuna (like they were ex at that time and Eddie is always so considerate of Patricia , to me it sounds strange that he didn’t talked to her to know if she was alright with that)

-Eddie realizing all the Sibuna-related things of season 2 , like why Patricia went blind or voiceless , OR EVEN THE FACT THAT HE DECLARED TO HER WITH EVERYBODY LISTENING !!

-An actual discussion of why Patricia broke up with Eddie , like one moment he is like ‘i hoped we could be good friends’ and the second after he’s kissing her. What’s in between? We’ve saw Patricia realizing she still had feelings for Eddie but what about him?

-The actual cute love/hate relationship of Peddie. Like in season 2 they have so many cute moments together, in season 3 there is so much drama and their relationship was pretty much used to get Patricia to sin??

-Everybody reactions to Peddie being back together.

-Patricia’s courage ???? Like she was always the one to try things first in season 2 but in season 3 she pretty much covers Eddie/Kt/Fabian shoulders and that’s it.

-Peddie reunion after she wasn’t a sin anymore.

-Peddie talking about the whole sinner story, like she was kidnapped and they probably used Eddie to make her angry, I’m sure he wanted to know what they did to her.

-Peddie lighthearted and funny moments. Like there was so much angst and I’m totally here for it but they really didn’t catch a break ! And the fact that they made Patricia sinner so early didn’t help at all.

Overall I really liked season 3 but for me it needed more funny/light moment, and they could have written Peddie a little better.

I know that a lot of people think that when Fabian went to uni, he would apply for a history degree or something related to that particular field. Like that seems the consensus in the fandom.

But am I the only one who thinks Fabian would want to go in the STEM field? And specifically study something related to space and the universe??

Last night I finished season 2.

You know I don’t think we make big enough of a deal about in the pilot episode when Patricia is talking about how Joy’s disappeared and hasn’t called her, and Jerome says to her, “Patricia, you’ve disappeared more than enough times.”

What does that mean????? Has she run away from school a bunch before??? Not shown up to dinners?? Dodged her friends’ calls?? Jerome just says this pretty casually without any additional explanation and it’s never addressed again. Bro literally what does he mean that Patricia’s disappeared a bunch of times?? That feels like something significant that there’s a story behind. What does this mean. What happened. I need answers!!!
