Candace Flynn in Nerds of a Feather. The way she spends the entire episode explicitly terrified of anyone finding out about her secret then happily reveals herself at the end. The way she worries about everyone thinking she likes kid stuff then, when they do laugh at her for it, she basically says "eh, them's the breaks." The way she flees from Suzy Johnson the whole episode and then tells her "Ducky Momo loves you too, Suzy" at the end.

Correct me if I'm wrong but up until this episode, we don't see Ducky Momo mentioned at all. Afterwards, Candace is apparently comfortable enough to bring her Ducky Momo plush into public sight and hunt for a Ducky Momo collectible at a flea market (although she half-heartedly pretends it isn't for her) and go to a public screening of a Ducky Momo movie (although when Vanessa catches her she pretends it's ironic).

Candace is a nervous wreck in a lot of ways but it's nice to see her grow (mostly) out of insecurity over liking "kid stuff". You go, girl.

They’d be besties for real. It just makes sense in my brain. Dipper and mabel are the perfect combo of whimsical logicism that is the phineas and ferb experience. Magical but in a slightly serious way.

I think the most absurd phineas and ferb episode that absolutely captures the gist of the show is Perry Lays an Egg. Every time I watch it I am blown away by its ridiculousness,

with the plot lines of Candace being obsessed with motherhood,

and doof trying to get back at a whale for stealing his ex girlfriend

This episode gave us the motherhood musical number, the boys getting busted (kind of), “thwart me, perry the platypus”, Heinz canonically being fluent in whale, his autistic ex gf who had a special interest in whales and now lives inside her husband, it’s just so so so so so STUPID

but in the BEST possible way. It’s peak phineas and ferb, truly bizarre, but silly and fun.

But it also has a lot more, it shows the perrysmirtz relationship in a way we’ve never seen, where doof is BEGGING perry to thwart him, and Perry refuses because it isn’t evil enough

We see another comment of how there’s this dichotomy of “superior mammals” even though pnf USA has animal employees who do the same jobs as humans

We see how the boys will always help candace out, even though they’re often portrayed as an antagonist to her, at the end of the day they’re still siblings.
