The Sunshot Generation as Babies/Toddlers

(And That One Story that was always told about them when they got older).

Wei Wuxian: Surprisingly, was a very good kid. There are shockingly few juicy stories.

Lan Wangji: By contrast, he was an absolutely feral toddler who terrified EVERYONE. Lan Xichen was the only one who could settle him down. It got so bad that Wangji got to attend class with his brother, because discipline did not work.

Jiang Cheng: Very cuddly baby/toddler. Was nearly kidnapped once or twice because he was offered cuddles. Developed his temper/paranoia/general prickliness later on.

Jiang Yanli: Accidentally kidnapped Wen Chao once. She wanted to give him soup because he looked sad. He was one year old and could not properly explain he was supposed to stay in place. They were halfway to Lotus Pier when it was discovered that the Jiang delegation had accidentally taken Wen-gongzi hostage.

Lan Xichen: Much better toddler than Wangji, but for a while refused to walk anywhere on his own. Surprisingly, the adult who gave in to his (very muted) temper tantrums most often was Lan Qiren.

Nie Mingjue: At his 100-day ceremony, he cried every time Wen Ruohan got close. His father was very apologetic. His mother thought it was hysterical and had to duck into antechambers to laugh in private.

Nie Huaisang: Normally too sick to do much, but bit Jin Guangshan one time at a delegation when he didn’t listen to the also-small Nie Mingjue’s warnings that Sang-er didn’t want to be held at the moment. Once again, his father was very apologetic. Mingjue was extremely proud of his didi.

Wen Xu: Made the mistake of shoving Yanli at a discussion conference. She tried to tell him to stop, but he didn’t listen. After the third time, she gave in and shoved him back, knocking him off the pier and into the water.

Wen Chao: Went through a period of time when his favorite adult was Wen Zhuliu, and he would throw a raging temper tantrum if anyone else handled him. This included servants, other sect leaders, his father and his mother. Neither he nor Wen Zhuliu were ever able to figure out why.

Wen Qing: While she did not cry very often, she scowled so fiercely at everyone that her parents had an exorcism performed on her at one point for fear that she was being possessed by a very unfriendly spirit. Nope, she just had enough of everyone’s nonsense before her hundredth day.

Wen Ning: Very nice baby. One time accidentally ripped the head off a doll and cried for hours until Wen Qing fixed it. She explained that he was giving it surgery.

Jin Zixuan: Very quiet baby. Was routinely taken to healers to ensure he wasn’t sick. Nope, he was just boring.

Meng Yao: Could climb before he could walk. Meng Shi learned this the hard way when she turned her back and found him on top of a table, clapping his hands and babbling excitedly at her. It was the only time she well and truly freaked out.

Mianmian: Was left alone in her parents’ garden one afternoon. When they returned, it was to find that she’d somehow dug up five worms and declared herself the worm empress. Once her husband heard the story, he teased her with it for weeks.

Sure!!! This is my first time writing an x reader for them, so I’m trying my best! Sorry if it sucks Orz

✨Gender neutral pronouns used! ✨

TW:

Twogami and Y/N are just chillin out at the cafeteria eating some lunch together. Of course, the essentials, like some deep fried Teruteru chicken and whatever fast food they wanted. Whatever drink they wanted too.

Teruteru comes up to check up on the two. “Everybody doing okay in here? Anything else I could get you two lovebirds~?”

Y/N shakes their head and Teruteru leaves. “Hey so, Byakuya? Would you like to… maybe help me study for this math test coming up? I’m really bad at math and getting help from you would be the best since like… math is right up your alley?” Y/N’s face reddens as they blush nervously.

Twogami smiles to themself. “Sure, I wouldn’t say no to helping somebody, especially you, because you’re absolutely precious to me.”

Y/N smiles to themself and stretches and they make a little noise. “Mmm! I feel more confident knowing that I’ll have you by my side.”

Twogami laughs. “Forever and always, my dear, forever and always. I’ll be by your side…”

Y/N smiles to themself and looks up at Twogami and Twogami notices their S/O looking up at them. “Byakuyaaaaaa,” They start to say.

“What, Y/N?”

“Wanna go study at the library? It’s nice and quiet there and we could get a lot of studying done in there, like a few chapters at least.” Y/N asks. Twogami nods.

“Sure. Let’s go get the things we need to study, come along, Y/N.” Twogami holds Y/N’s hand as they both make their way to their respective cottages.

Y/N packs up a whole backpack filled with a school binder that has a bunch of notes in it and the study guide.

They then put on the backpack and they slowly but surely make their way to Twogami’s cottage. They yawn and knock on the door.

The door opens with Twogami smiling. “Are you ready to go, Y/N?”

“Yep! Let’s go!” Y/N responds, smiling to themself.

The two eventually make their way to the library and Twogami pulls back a chair and lets Y/N sit first.

What a sweetheart 😭

Y/N reaches into their bag, getting out all of their notes and organizing their notes into little neat piles.

Twogami likes that and smirks. “Y/N, I love all of the neat piles you have. Impressive.”They sit down next to Y/N, blushing.

Twogami also reaches into their bag and gets out their math notes, flipping through their notes.

“Alright, what sections of this math unit are you confused about?”

Y/N looks down at the study guide that Monomi gave them a week prior. Much to Twogami’s surprise, some bits of the questions about division and some multiplication are blank.

“I… A lot of these are blank because… division is a huge weakness for me. Some multiplication questions are hard for me too.”

Twogami picks up Y/N’s study guide and flicks through the pages. “You did really well with these. Nice job.” They pat Y/N’s head, causing Y/N to blush and giggles a bit. Twogami blushes a little bit.

“Al-Alright, look at this one. 39*283. And don’t forget that there’s three multiplication symbols. The asterisk one is kind of common, along with the usual ‘x’ shape. So you can use whichever you want during this test. I also brought a calculator, since calculators are allowed on the test.”

Y/N gasps. “That’s a THING??? Like… a genuine thing???”

“Yes, you didn’t know..? Monomi has let us do this for a while now. Sure it makes Monokuma really mad, but it’s alright.”

Twogami hands his super fancy calculator to Y/N and they type in the math question. “Ha! It’s 11,037!”

Danganronpa jokes are the literal best lol

They yawn and without even realizing it, cross their arms, lay them on the table and lay their head on their arms, falling asleep almost instantly.

Twogami continues to flip through the study guides and notices some little doodles in the little corners, like little hearts and star shapes.

“Seems like you know most of what’s going to be on the test, dear Y/N.”

No response.

“Y/N?“ They turn their head to see Y/N, completely asleep. He moves closer and gently shakes them, waking them up.

“Hm..? What… What’s up, Byakuya? Did I fall asleep?”

“Yes, are you feeling alright? You look… exhausted.”

Y/N looks up at Twogami, stretches, makes a little noise from the stretch and looks nervous.

“I… stayed awake for several hours in hopes that I actually could finish this damn thing. Then I fell asleep at my little table at three in the morning… I’m just really worried that I’m gonna fail!!” They look at them, with really sad eyes. They then cry into Twogami’s chest, startling them.

“H-Hey, Y/N, I promise that everything will be alright! My name is Byakuya Togami and I will make sure you get a 100% on this test!” They continue to pat Y/N’s head.

“Now, dear, please stop the tears, you’re going to make yourself even more tired.” He pats their head and gives them a gentle hug. Y/N lifts up their head and smiles while wiping the tears.

“Okay..!”

Twogami continues to help Y/N study for a little while longer, going into length about division and multiplication.

Honestly fuck all of that tbh

“Well, I think we should both head to our homes, I never how realize how late it got. I don’t want you to get so tired that you fall asleep during the test and fail. Come with me, let’s go home.”

Y/N nods and picks up all of their notes, feeling confident. They smirk once they get all of their notes picked up.

They head back to their cottages. They both eventually make it and Y/N looks right up at Twogami. “Thank you so much for the help today, Byakuya. I greatly appreciate it. You’re literally the best partner ever!”

They give Twogami a quick peck on the cheek and dash to their cottage room, their face is tomato red and they giggle a bit. They turn around and wave like this:

Y/N eventually closes the door after exclaiming “YOU’RE THE BEST!”

Literally Thiccakuya:

They, too, also walk to their cottage grinning proudly and just… bLUSHES hard and eventually goes to bed.
