"I'm Sorry," (END)
[PREV]
This is a short comic! Just wanted to draw Azula apologizing instead of having Ty Lee automatically give her a chance. Yes she has been living with Azula for almost 9 months and knows she's changing but an apology was something she never knew she needed from her. She appreciates the apology and the fact that Azula is sorry about what she did and how she treated her.

'I love you'
One thought is all it takes for things to come crashing down. Her fingers freeze up as she paused in brushing the hair out of the brunette's face. Her breath hitched as her eyes go wide with shock at the 3 words that invaded her mind.
'I love you'
Its there again, that damning thought, that haunting thought. She stares at her sleepping face, at the way her chest rose and fall, at the way her fingers curled into the sheets, at the way her mouth seems to have curved into a small smile-
'I love you'
She slowly backs away from the sleeping warrior, hands raised slightly as her back hits the wall quietly. She covers her mouth with 2 hands, tears stinging her eyes as her heart aches.
'I love you'
Her heart hurts, her lungs hurt. She finds herself choking back on her sobs as she slowly inches towards the door. She slowly closed it behind her, exiting the quaint home to breathe in the cold air.
"Weapons don't love," she hissed under her breath, arms reaching up to her sides to hold herself. To keep herself steady, to ground her as these thoughts plauged her mind.
"Monsters don't love," she repeats it, one word replaces the other. Trying to convince herself that its true.
It is, it is true. Its not, its not. She wants to say its not.
"I don't love," she says with more conviction yet the shakiness of her voice betrays her.
"I don't love," she lies to herself because Azula always lies. Lies protected her, kept her safe, kept her warm. Kept her alone
She wants to stop lying for once
