This is Queen Taura!

Taura uses the Title of Queen even tho he isnt a women. Taura is the Queen of the icey forbidden lands, as he does his best to keep a terrible creature captive in his icey cold storms. The Kingdom derfore is nearly for most creatures and human's uninhabitable, even tho many MANY centires back it was a beauitful warm Kingdom that got curupted by a creature of death and decay.

Taura used to serve this creature for some time, but soon his servitute was no longer a choice. By the time Taura was powerful enough to freeze the creature in his ice, he no longer had the trust and compation, or love or care he once had. His heart became cold out of necesity for survival and to keep the evil King at bay. After all, his chains of servitue are unbroken, even now with his freedom, he does not have a choice but to make sure no one, EVER, breaks the Ice that the creature, the evil King Zaul, resides in. Taura will not hesiate to kill any intruder willing to try and take him down. He doesn't bother to negoiate or explain his situation to intruders, he was let down one to many times, and does not believe anyone would ever willingly listen or help him.

I think I am starting to get the hang of it, still have a lot of improvement to do tho. like the hang of how to properly use watercolor brushes compared to before, still feel I gotta keep learning tho or stick to a specific kind of watercolor to make it better.

Lilly is definatly listening to to Fnaf music, probably just the movie intro song on repeat while waiting for the buss.

I wanted to kind of try out a new artstyle, still very similar to mine but less refined, even more sketchy, and with more edges. as well as using the watercolor brushes i bough 2 or 3 years back. honestly I really like it and I wanna continue trying to do more stuff like this.

If you are wondering about the character, it is just a plushie of mine who I quickly made into human. this was genuinly fun to draw, I didn't feel so overly stressed and just enjoyed myself, such a nice change of pace.

My last post was about Fay and mostly a chiby drawing and with a old version of her as comparesion. here is a bit better look at her in the style of the animation I made for her. Much more in line with the proper style and also I am rather happy with this turntable! I don't do turntables a lot as they can take between 6 to 8 hours to do. but they are important pratice and good to have in my portpholio.

also here is an expression board. Fay is a rather happy and curois character so most of the emotions I decided to display are happy or comfortable. But Fay does loose her sh*t if she takes an all nighter and won't be to patient anymore at that point considering she is most likely very tired. but has never raised her voice due to anger or upset, besides when getting jumpscared.

Fay is still my favorite OC I have, it is funny to think she came to be because of a first semester project for a lovestory between her witch self and a demon. She was barely even thought out, I justed needed a simple looking character to tell the story I wanted to tell. I think that is also why I ened up loving her so much, she is very simplistic in design, considered she was inspired by ghibli's simplstic designs. she has changed a lot since then, but at the same time has barely changed. but her story and life absulutly has changed. started out as a antisocial light witch living out in the forest and been alive for hundress of years having a strong grasp of life and light magic. To being a light magick student still figuring out sigials that will work and hyper dedicated to her craft to one day help people and creatures of her world. I also darked her skin as I got better at drawing skintones, and avoided using complete white and instead have a bluish white, and also dirtying out the gray instead of having straight silver. her hat also changed as I learned more about the history of pointy witch hats. Her hair also changed from dread locks to natural curles. And In the end, her bodytype changed from thin to more heavy sett.

I am working on changing up some stuff with persona and genrally what I want to focuse on going more into a dirrection of my special interests instead of trying to stick to a certain world or similar.

so which design do you like more of the two? they are very similar but with some small differences. you can also say why you like a certain design more or pick apart both designs and what you like about them.

So I struggle a lot with knowing what I want my persona to look like. It has always been a slight struggle. Recently I did post a post with a drawing I thought was the one I wanted to go with but than changed my mind and tried 2 more times. Here all 3 are:

What is DreamStay?

DreamStay is a world inspired by the concept of Dreamcore. Any human who enters this place needs 2 requirements. 1- having a plushie they are attached too. 2- experienced trauma that causes sucidal thoughts. Their plushie is now their only way to continue to wake up in the real world every morning, if that plushie is destroyed while inside DreamStay they can no longer leave and are stuck there for as long as they are able to survive. Did I say survive? Yes, yes I did. You see this world has something fun in it that hunts and tries their best to destroy a human and their plush companion, mostly first their plush companion as a Hunter (get it lol) can’t touch a person before the plushie is destroyed. Human’s can hide all they want where they want, but Hunters will attack on sight so be careful! Soooo what else, ah! Yes! Citizens also exist in this world, which are just creatures who aren’t hunters local to DreamStay, theyyy don’t like to talk to human’s much, just as citizens are weird for humans, humans are weird to citizens. Like aliens!

But what might I be? I’m a SpiralHead! Which is technically a synthetic Citizen, as I was once human, but now I am not. We can kind of ignore the how and why, Iiiii don’t like to talk about that much…

ANYWAY!

Enjoy your stay! If you want I can take you to the playground biom, or the carnival! Oh but you as a human might not be able to really handle the absurdness of those areas without going insane. So how about we just go to the diner for some cake! Diners are wonderful areas in the city bioms full of food. Very useful for a hungry belly. And don’t worry about Hunters while with me, I like to eat those for breakfast! Or as a light snack.

Were I wish to draw but it is oh so far from my reach.

Because even tho I might sit for ours starting at my canvas, I do in fact not have the actual motivation to draw anything.

I am tired of this witchery, I have so many ideas! Yet! My brain REFUSES LIKE THE CHILD IT IS to actually put it on paper.

I feel cursed.
