Finally completed this tarot card for @merce‘s inquisitor, Aaron Trevelyan. I based this card off the Six of Swords because this boi has a lot of baggage lmao. He was the youngest of eight brothers, with all the perks and virtually none of the responsibilities to the noble family. He and his outcast brother, Ferdinand, were sent to the Conclave. Only one of them survived the explosion ofc because no tragic origin is complete without a dead relative I guess. Traumatized pretty boi Aaron Trevelyan later becomes one of the two Inquisitors of our canon alongside my character, Xanthe Lavellan. :’)

I played DA:I like two years ago and only now have I made a tarot card for my quizzy that I’m proud of. :’) *Cue slight monologue* Much of Xanthe’s character arc revolves around her faith. Her mother was a city elf who seeked asylum with Clan Lavellan to escape the Templars. When Xanthe’s magic manifested during her childhood, she was chosen as the Keeper’s first, despite others’ protests due to her heritage.
Although Xanthe proved to be a curious and compassionate old soul, well versed in Elven lore and capable of leading the Clan, the Elven faith never quite clicked with her. Growing more nihilistic in response to the Gods’ silence, she stopped praying every day in secret. Least to say, becoming the Herald of Andraste against her will complicated her faith even further. Yet thousands of miles away from home, she found herself praying to the Elven Gods again as she came to terms with her new identity, in hope of…answers? Closure? Some divine intervention? Anything.
