I'll be upfront with my opinion, which mirrors my opinion in regards to my field: using AI will only hasten your own obsolescence. The point of fanfiction is not to crank out fics, but rather to enjoy the hobby and communities of writing and fandom.
#absolutely not#like... what's the point?#i don't even get the point of ai-generated books (the very concept disgusts me)#and ai-generated fanfiction is somehow even worse#fanfiction is created out of love and out of need to express all of the thoughts and feelings that bloom inside of your chest#how... why... how could you ever generate that with the help of a machine???#it destroys the very essence of fanfiction!
