I've been teaching for a decade now, so I have quite a few former students currently at the universities where anti-war, pro-Palestinian protests have started. As hard as teaching can be sometimes, nothing (NOTHING) beats getting messages/pictures of my students at those protests thanking me for teaching them about Palestine all those years ago when they sat in my social justice class. I am so proud of my babies!!!
