idk but i think is really sweet that kabru wanted to learn mithrun's story well enough to be able to explain it to laios. Yes he'd probably also tell it to the rest of his party but i like the fact that he goes out of his way to simplify the story enough to what he feels would be easy for laios to understand

hey i dont disagree w/ your post about thistle, but marcille is not a good example of the slow aging of elves since, as a half-elf, she ages very unstably. it's stated by marcille's dad that some half-elves are still physically children after 100 years, and others grow like that of the short lived races but suddenly stop aging at middle age.

wait i got confused by this ask lol anyway. i used marcille because she's the only elf that had a confirmed toddler age. elf ages 3x short-lived races.

in this image this thistle is clearly toddler to preschooler-aged (he couldn't talk much yet) but we don't know how old he is. he could be 15-20 years old here

can you read the manga at least. uneven aging is a massive part of dungeon meshi.

i dont think ppl understand that thistle is a good example of the “1000 year old kid” trope. it was used right, it makes such a good allegory to the adultification that happens with brown kids. everyone around him ASSUMED he was an adult and gave him adult responsibilities, and it backfired tremendously. but the thing is people in this fandom are so ship brained it flies past people’s heads so they do shit like ship him with an adult like laios or his brother.

he’s not a *literal* child but there is a reason why kui has deliberately drawn him several years younger than his first appearance lol. even his tallman form looks like a child, whereas short elves like fleki and otta look like adults as tallmen

remember, wrt full-blooded elf aging 80 year olds are equivalent to 16. if thistle was brought into the castle when he was 20, and delgal was 40 by the time the dungeon was made, he’d be 60 at most

a couple of the characters that oppose the main party are poc so inevitably you get white fans posting violent tweets about them but preface it with “man” or “twink”. maybe this is to be expected of a series inspired by tolkien works

the faligon animations were so goooodddd but is it just me or are the color keys a little ugly... the faligon reveal looked too bright and not menacing enough. it looked super good in the red dragon arc so i wonder what happened lol

would they try to fit in shapeshifter I & II and hag(izutsumi debut) in one episode? shapeshifter is a really short arc

noooo i didnt forget about rin it's just that kabru and marcille hang out all the time post-canon since they literally live together lol. i think kabru would want marcille and rin to be friends though

neither of them know it just yet but less than two months from now they're going to be best friends :)
