Hi! I know you probably dont know this but im gonna try and ask anyways i just read a post from @/prettyoddsoutsold and Ryan mentions having a brother in it??? Do we know if he ever talked about his siblings again bcs ive literally never heard about him having any. Thank you!

Yeah he does. I remember some Vegas kids who were in the early fandom referenced multiple half-siblings for Ryan but idk too much about his personal life or how legit that info was. I remember Keltie mentioning something too but I have no way to cite that either. The fastest reference I can think of at the moment would be The Summer League's old livejournal entries from Ryan.

Disclaimer before I send people to that link: That community died out once The Summer League ended in summer 2004, but then a P!ATD fan tried to revive it in 2006 and filled it with utter nonsense (which honestly wasn't far off from the unreliable content plaguing every forum & community that year with the surge of intense fans who preferred to scream about Ryan's adam's apple or whatever and spread any idea that crossed their mind, regardless of whether it was real/true). I just don't want anyone's takeaway to be that the Hey Matt song being passed around the fandom was legit lol.

I'll screenshot anything left in that community that is remotely useful to make it easier...

I like the part about Spencer's mom taping because the guys mentioned in future interviews how they practiced in Spencer's garage and his mom would tape them:

note: he did call his band "League" in journal entries in late 2003 (with the parentheses).

This was one of the fan projects for Brendon’s 20th birthday. It included a guitar hero hoodie, a scrapbook where fans sent a picture of a glimpse into their life, skittles & a few extras, and 2 decks of playing cards with a message from a fan written on each one. That last part took a lot of coordinating because fans would email Christina with their address, she would send them a single playing card to write a message on, and then they’d have to mail it back in time. Christina organized this project with Sara, so full credit to her for the pics above.

I didn’t think that fans would actually hear anything from the band, but a couple weeks later Brendon posted:

04.28.2007 - late bday message as i try on my new “music addicted” shirt and my new guitar hero hoodie, i can only feel grateful. for YOU. the fans. i just received a package full of bday letters, decks of cards with little notes, awesome pictures and artwork. i can definitely tell that a lot of hard work went into this amazing project. so, once again, thank you to those fine ladies that set this all up and to all the fans that contributed their time and effort into this project. i mean, if turning 20 is THIS good, i can’t wait for next year. :) love. - bden
