Oh my God these lines a long with Brennan's narration makes me both so excited and nervous. Like is Riz going to be forcibly turned against the other bad kids? I personally always love the type of drama that stims from story lines like that. For example that teen titans one where Robin was forced to be Slade's apprentice. So it be really interesting if this went on for a bit. It probably won't but hey we can wait and see right?

I think we forgot that Cassandra is a little sister that had an elder sister who harmed her. And Kristen is an elder sister who also left her siblings behind in a home that she knows is toxic. They could help heal each other so well, if they ever get the chance.

I honestly think the ratgrinders aka the butt crushers. Would be pretty interesting as the bbeg's this season. To have the bad kids face of against a group their own age. Also with Kipperlill, and Ruben... I get this vibe that they are really bad news. Also idk if I'm looking to much into Ruben's reaction to fig coming into bard class?

Okay, after discovering that I am in fact blind and Kipperlilly’s eyes are NOT just full white, here is my serious analysis of our intro to Kipperlilly.

This girl is a fascist.

Full stop, this girl is a full throat, blood and soil fascist. The ratgrinders are pretty obviously a reference to the sorta ‘drain the swamp’ style “we are getting the vermin out” ethnic cleansing mentality.

This girl is dangerous. Maybe not the big bad for the season, but definitely a main stage player.

She also clearly has some interaction with whatever the fucking time quangle is and is using it to advance her own interests. Asking specifically when Kristen’s new god was created is clearly like “welp, add that to our to do list.”

It's just... I just keep thinking if I was in her position. I care so much about my siblings and missing two years of their life? Like he's probably around 14 right so he was probably 12 the last time she saw him. And it's just like imagine having someone who you love so deeply. And you you see yourself as the protector of and having to leave.

I think it's pretty clear that Kristen loves her brothers a lot. And her whole family situation is so tragic. And it's so hard also because her parents at least did love her. And to have your parents side with their cult over you is so fucking sad. I mean that's your kid! And you're choosing that status quo instead of her?!?

But I'm so excited to see more of Kristen and her family. (Especially her brothers)
