SPEAR also I painted the spearhead! The shaft is actually beautifully finished and lets the sliver/gold pop really well.

Update 2, final near-full equipped belt! Got kyber crystal trophies on the bandolier with a full set of rifle rounds, blaster holster slit from last AP, and a sword loop for a commissioned shortsword+sheath print!

AP update, with a secondary post coming for done (except weathering + shortsword) bandolier! Helmet is sanded and fully assembled. Will let all the adhesives set for a couple days before starting on filling/sanding.

Bucket in possession!! Fits great, huge thanks to a clanmate for printing it out and shipping it to me! Now comes sanding!!

First AP of the year, COMPLETE! Got my blaster and holster up to snuff, and even took the time to rough up the knuckleguards on my gloves. Even got measured for my bucket, which is going to be the next step in assembling my kit.

soft parts (sans suit) test today! sash belt and scarf looking very good, though I'll still be messing with how best to tie off the sash since it only fits around my waist once x_x

both pieces are cotton, so I shouldn't overheat once I have a bucket.

So awhile back I got the first piece of my weaponry, but it does need some work - according to my ruus'alore, there's visible print lines that need to be scrubbed off, plus the scope only has one very brittle attachment point. With armor party coming up this weekend (my first!), I think my main goal is going to be getting the scope removed, deal with the print lines, and in general get the blaster cleaned up.

In addition, I've ordered my suit and flak vest (yayyyy) though the tracking number doesn't work x_x so the estimate is it arrives this week but the video review on Etsy says they received their suit in a month. So we'll see.

Ultimately, AP goals: - get blaster up to code - Observe All The Things - lock down a print comm for my helmet \o/

FINALIZED plate list for kit. The shoulder setup HAS been approved: shoulder bells but on one shoulder is one Architect pauldron to have a bit of an asymmetrical look. FIRST AP THIS WEEKEND WHOOOOO!!

realized A) I do not have sewing or dyeing skills to get a gray flak vest and a blue flight suit and B) all the suits available on Etsy are either black or brown with limited options for grey or blue. SO we edit for black soft suit. I am not upset in the least :D
