Hey so I got a commission for THE ARCHIVE UNDYING and it has straight-up killed me. The unsettling fleshy hue of the coral that melds perfectly into the luminous flowers... The serrated teeth on the cogs... The hands, the grasping hands... Can't fucking wait for people to read the book and indulge in the details!!

love having power over our tumblr totally unchecked. like this is not at all an important element of our marketing, but i am having a blast <3 so now to discuss the books i’m reading presently (the answer is too many but onward!):
- the saint of bright doors by vajra chandrasekera - delightful, amazing, one of the two books i promised as a treat to myself upon finishing my thesis and graduating
- the archive undying by emma mieko candon - my brain not good at understanding things yet but boy do i love!!!!! the second title that is a reward to myself for graduating
- dark moon, shallow sea by david r. slayton - i read the adam binder trilogy over the span of three days and could not get enough, and i am so so delighted to start this one!!!! david my bestie
- swordheart by t kingfisher - reading all of t kingfisher’s works has been key to my surviving the last semester of grad school, and slowly we shall come to the point where every t kingfisher book has a staff recommend on it <3
