The Apalachee Prehistoric Museum assures its guests that the animals are happy and docile, and that the natural landscape and flora in the region is quite similar to the habitat they would have occupied in life, but the park’s infrastructure has seem better days. The walkway surrounding the mastodon exhibit has still not been repaired following damages by hurricane michael. Your donations are therefore appreciated.

long time no post! i sort of fell off the daily drawing challenge as you probablhy surmised, but i’m sorta back drawing occasional prompts!

decided to revisit an old oc design today. might clean this up further later, maybe add a background or the rest of the dino.

i ordered a nosepass sitting cuties a few days ago and it came in today. it’s been sitting up on my desk and i’ve been looking at it all day, so i felt inspired to get a sort of a sketch down for an idea that’s been kicking around in my brain for a long time: a nosepass that’s been sitting in the same place for so long, it’s been taken over by vegetation. i really like the image of sedentary nosepass as natural fixtures, something that people didn’t even conceive of as a living thing for ages.

i didn’t achieve quite the vibe i was going for here, but it’s something. i’d like to practice vegetation like this; i know i said it for yesterday’s doodle but i’d like to make a proper illustration with this concept sometime.

been reading oathbringer, wanted to doodle kaladin. this is how i imagined him back in the day when i first read the way of kings, not so much anymore. it’s just muscle memory to draw him this way now but i’ll have to do a for realsies illustration sometime.
