Hear me out!
Ice King and Sub Zero from the animated film have a couple of similarities that I noticed during the events of both cartoons
Both Simon and Kuai are both frivolous characters in the past, and whose ability to cryomancy led to dire consequences. And both at one time fled from their problems somewhere, but at the end of the work they atone for their guilt by saving the main character.
Also, both characters at one time raised (in the case of Kuai, trained) a young man in the conditions of the apocalypse.
But what is most interesting is that both of them cannot control themselves while using Cryomancy.
It's funny that two quite different cartoons have essentially similar characters, whose plots are in no way connected, but are very similar to each other

Noob Saibot's clones explanation
Playing the plot of MK11, did you not notice one detail? Bi-Han too often began to use his clones. The key word is cloneS. In the plural. But how so? In the past parts, he called only one! In the story mode of the 9th part, I didn't call at all! Let's figure out how it happened. Let's start with what happened to Noob in the last games. Namely: He helped Quan Chi create a tornado from souls, later getting there. But what happened to him next? According to Scorpion in the fourth chapter of MK11, Bi-Han was allegedly torn apart. But again, according to Noob himself, it's not so easy to kill him in the same fourth chapter. Well, now let's ask ourselves the main question: What really happened to him.
We know what makes a tornado of souls with people or ghosts: it tears them apart. An example of this is the biography of Scorpion in Mortal Kombat: Deception
Noob and Scorpion are very similar in structure. Both were created by Quan Chi. However, what distinguishes Noob from Scorpio is a race (Yes, Quan Chi demons have races). And if Scorpion is Spectre, then Bi-Han is Wraith. These are two completely different species. Apart from Noob Saibot, we have never seen any other dark ghosts. But in the released MK:Onslaught, we were shown two creatures that wear classic ninja costumes and have a dried face. Just like Noob Saibot!
Something I deviated from the topic. So, as we know, according to Noob Saibot, the creation of Quan Chi is not so easy to kill. We already know that. Now, answering the main question of the article: How did Noob Saibot learn to create several clones at once? The answer to this is given by Noob Saibot himself in a dialogue with the Kollector
The mystery is solved! Noob Saibot absorbed the souls from the tornado and enslaved them, making them his shadow clones! And this theory takes place because something similar he did in Mortal Kombat Armageddon. During the attack on the Lin Kuei temple, Noob, together with Smoke, transformed the Lin Kuei warriors into self-like demons, subduing them to himself.
The result: Bi-Han not only survived the explosion of a tornado from souls, but also somehow absorbed a large number, turning them into his shadow clones.

Characters that would fit in MK1 New Era
Part 1
In the entire history of the series, we have only seen this character three times. And we were never allowed to play for him. Not once when his records were in the MK1, this, where Hydro was suddenly recorded as the "God of Water".
Considering that there are only three popular characters left in the Lin Kuei: Sub Zero, Sektor and Cyrax. Considering Smoke and Scorpion act like best friends, it would be cool to see another Bi-Han kanon friend, which is what Hydro is. Yes, so far everything looks like this, if at the moment Sektor is a close friend of Sub Zero, but from the ending of the character we can understand that Sektor is just a Lin Kuei engineer who simply does his job very well.
At the very least, Hydro could have been made Kameo a fighter. Yes, the fighter is essentially Rain, but of a different color. However, unlike him, Hydro has a lower water temperature, essentially being able to freeze water.

Kameo Sub Zero IS Kuai Liang
I've seen a lot of speculation about who Kameo Sub Zero is. And although there are many arguments that this is Bi-Han, I do not agree with this statement. Because there is much more evidence that this is Kuai. Let's start with something simple, namely design:
Although Sub Zero's costumes in MK1 and MK2 are similar, there are a couple of details that distinguish them:
Bi-Han's costume was entirely made of fabric and did not have anything plastic/metal in its style
Kuai's suit, on the contrary, included metal knee pads with a mask and plastic hand protection.
Sub Zero's face doesn't count because his previous actor (Tony Chung) is a Scorpion in this game, so having the same actor play two identical characters would cause dissonance.
Sub's voice is also a simple convention, due to the laziness of the developers (Example: some of Johnny Cage's screams were taken by MKX)
And now to the main part. Character's special moves!
And absolutely all of Kameo Sub's movements are Kuai's special moves in previous games.
Cold Shaker has appeared in all Post-Classic installments and has never appeared in Bi-Han.
Cold Shoulder is essentially Kuai's signature move, which debuted in Deadly Alliance and returned in MK11.
His move in Fatal Blow directly references the same hit in the ninth part (Yes, in fact, Bi-Han did this in that game, but the main Sub there was Kuai)
As for Fatality, not everything is so simple. Yes, for the first time this fatality was done by the Eldest of the Brothers, but most often in the entire series of games this was done by Kuai (MKSM, MK4, MK9, MKX)

The battle began suddenly. Too suddenly. Kuai and Bi-Han knew who they were fighting against. However, Tomas didn't recognize the attacker. He didn't know he was from the Netherrealm. Smoke's mind was filled with thoughts that weren't even his own, as if someone took control of his body. Using his last strength, Tomas teleported himself away from his comrades to avoid harming them.
Meanwhile, Kuai and Bi-Han defended themselves against the relentless attacks of the Ghost, who was trying to kill them both. The brothers decided to act in unison, deflecting Scorpion's attacks simultaneously, not allowing him to attack either of them. Kuai was about to freeze the Specterr, but he threw a dagger on a chain, hitting Cryomancer right in the eye. Kuai screamed in pain and recoiled from both, clutching his face.
"Kuai!" he exclaimed, turning back to Scorpion and impaling him with his icy sword. The sword pierced deeply into Hanzo's body, enough to immobilize him. Immediately after the sword vaporized, the Specter teleported away from the brothers, warning them that he would return.
After the battle, Han immediately ran to Kuai, helping him up. There was a scar on the younger one's face, still bleeding. With effort, Kuai stood up.
"Shirai Ryu scum will pay" — Bi-Han said coldly. "I will personally track him down."
Bi-Han and Kuai looked around, checking for any surprises in the area. To their surprise, everything was clean, except...
"Where's Smoke?" Bi-Han asked. "If that idiot ran away again, I'll leave him here."
"I'm sure he's nearby. He couldn't have gone far."
Wounded, Both decided to leave this dark alley before someone caught them here again. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, the brothers made their way to the "Little China" district. It was night, so few people would see them here.
Both cryomancers discussed their plan to find Smoke, trying to figure out where he could have gone. The question was just how to search for him. Smoke was renowned as one of the best spies in the clan, alongside Cyrax. Finding him wouldn't be an easy task. It would be even harder to understand what was happening to him.
While Kuai speculated about what could have happened to Tomas, Bi-Han silently nodded, then interrupted his brother, stopping in his tracks.
"I don't know what will happen next. We're being hunted, and who knows how it will end. But I want to warn you right away. Whatever happens, I will always be on your side."
His brother's words echoed in Kuai’s head. What did he mean by that?
"I don't understand what you're..." Tundra began, tilting his head in confusion.
"Scorpion won't stop until he finishes us. He believes we're responsible for his family's demise. He won't listen to reason. We can only fight. Or die."
The younger one nodded, mentally preparing for future battles with Hanzo. The brothers set out again to find their missing brother, while someone watched over them. Someone they had known for a long time but were unaware of his presence.
"Unit LK-4D4 reporting. Objects located. Safe mode deactivated," he monotoned, turning off the microphone on his control panel.

I don’t know how to format these posts correctly, because this is literally the first time I’ve published something like this here. So basically you can count this text as an MK Alternate Universe, which takes place in the interval between MK9 and MKX. I’ll continue this story in the future. Enjoy reading!
Chapter 1 —Fated by Aloneness
— How much longer do we have to wait? — Smoke asked, perched on the rooftop. — We've been hanging out here for the third hour already, and still no sign of the target.
— We'll stay here for as long as necessary. And if you whine again like a little kid, you'll regret ever volunteering for this mission. — Cryomancer grumbled discontentedly, keeping his eyes on the street.
Meanwhile, nearby, Kuai also scanned for the target, hoping it would eventually show up.
— Are you sure the information you remember is accurate? — He inquired, looking at Bi-Han, sarcastically raising an eyebrow.
— I won't listen to those cyborgs created by the Grandmaster's order. I don't trust mechanisms. — Cryomancer replied, standing up and sighing irritably. — Let's find shelter. Our target definitely won't show up today.
While they wandered through the forest, looking for a place to spend the night, Smoke, without much thought, began to worry.
— Speaking of cyborgs... Have you ever considered that this could be a setup for the future? What if the Grandmaster decides to turn us into them? — Tomas said cautiously, nervously swallowing saliva. In response to his words, both brothers just laughed.
— Nonsense. A machine can never reach the same level of strength as a human. — Bi-Han remarked, faintly smiling.
Kuai paused for a moment, then waved his hand dismissively:
— Unlikely. But if that happens, I'll try to escape immediately.
Finding a secluded place to spend the night proved to be a challenging task. There were plenty of police officers in some areas and ordinary people in others, who shouldn't see them. The mercenaries' gaze fell upon a dark alley dimly lit by a couple of street lamps. Unfortunately, all three of them hadn't anticipated that their mission would drag on for several days, so they hadn't brought any provisions.
It was only a couple of hours before Smoke began to suspect something. Tomas started pacing around, sniffing.
— Does it seem to you like it's smelling... odd? — Smoke asked, trying to pinpoint the source of the smell.
— It's probably from Han. For him, work is more important than washing and sleeping. — Kuai joked, earning himself a slap from Bi-Han.
To their surprise, two portals opened right in front of them, from which a pair of demons emerged, one of which immediately lunged at Bi-Han. While the brothers fought off the two bloodthirsty demons, Smoke curled up against the wall.
— Is this idiot going to help us or not? — The Elder Cryomancer exclaimed angrily, gripping the creature's jaw.
Meanwhile, the Younger silently fended off another monster until he noticed a third portal. Freezing and pushing away the demon, Kuai approached the opening, from which almost immediately a kunai on a chain flew out. Thanks to his sharp reflexes, Cryomancer managed to catch the dagger. Someone outside tried to pull Kuai towards them, but he immediately released the weapon and recoiled.
— What was that? — Han asked, who had already dealt with the demon.
The Younger's prolonged silence slightly unsettled Bi-Han. What or who could be there?
— He's here — Kuai replied coldly, forming an icy sword in his hand. — Get ready.
Bi-Han almost immediately understood whom Kuai was talking about and simply nodded silently, also creating ice weapons in his hands.
