* Ask Fallen Royalty (AFR) was an Undertale Askblog that ran from February 19th, 2018 to March 25th, 2023 on Tumblr. It was created by Starlightshore.
* The comic wasn't taken as a serious project until 2020. This means the Tumblr version is missing 2 chapters and has a retconned Deltarune crossover chapter.
* The Redraw is currently on Chapter 2 of 7, to get the finished story you'd have to read the out of date Tumblr version. In time this will be fixed as the Redraw covers the full story.
The Redraw Updates on every Tuesday/Thursday

* Comic Fury is the ideal version as it has transcripts.
* However, feel free to read the Legacy version if you're okay with a incomplete story that skips around the middle.

TR- gone is a legend, someone who inspired countless in subtle and grand ways, invented stories and words to tell these stories with, and made the childhood of a nation of crazy people (children, because you never really stop being one)
Rest in peace Ziraldo 💔❤️🩹💔❤️🩹
reminder to worldbuilders: don't get caught up in things that aren't important to the story you're writing, like plot and characters! instead, try to focus on what readers actually care about: detailed plate tectonics
this scene imo can mean two things, either the sight of the fallen humans enraged clover so bad they wasted no time in drawing their revolver. their innate sense of justice have reached new heights, enlivening every fiber of their tiny being. this was utterly unforgivable in their eyes.
or,
this is the moment it dawned on clover that this... is ASGORE. king of all monsters. man behind the deaths of the five humans they've bravely venutred to "find".
this is the figure whom even flowey, with his remarkable capacity to reset, sought assistance in confronting. you don't think the other humans tried pleading their case? tried fighting back? look at where that got them. in a jar. clover trembles, they're afraid.
up until now, they've never felt the need to whip out their gun so readily (save for ceroba in this route n even then it took clover SO long to reconcile their decision to FIGHT) and they've encountered a myriad of some of the peskiest n most menacing monsters and yet..... in this instance, the grab for the gun almost felt... instinctual. a flight or FIGHT type of response. it seems they've realized their friends were right, they had no chance up against asgore. heck, they didn't even get to use their gun in battle. their demise was written in the stars the minute they stepped foot in the room. but... well... at least.. when if they go down... they'd have given it everything they had, right?
lol, what yall think? i personally like the first interpretation better, it's more badass :3
