Kakashi: I sent Sai to do some sleuthing on the disappearances, and he sent back a very peculiar report. The handwriting is rather...hurried...and his team has apparently disappeared as well.
Shikamaru: They disappeared?
Kakashi: Yeah. That’s not the strangest part, though. He was supposed to report back in person, and in the report he sent he mentioned something weird about doubting the “peaceful façade” of our city.
Shikamaru: *Sighs* And you want me to go figure out what’s happened?
Kakashi: Yep.
