tarrasque dragon? tarrasque dragon. i know we already have a ‘snapping turtle’ dragon technically, but……….. what if. i had to draw this out so here’s my take. it’s more ‘medieval-dragon-creature’ than FR’s standard ‘dragon’ archetype, but…. fun nonetheless!
its hexopodal- no ‘wings’ obviously- so the secondary color and genes could instead affect the shell & larger scutes that plate the body. which could be difficult to pull off, i get that, but man i think staff really should swing a lot wilder on the ancients tbh

So. I had/have the dreaded plague. Fortunately, mild despite the fact I'm in the at-risk group, so I'm still at home being gross on the couch. I just get winded doing just about anything, and I'm tired, and my head hurts, and whine whine whine. I seem to be coming out the other side of it at least. I'm not coughing anymore and I can taste food again (which means I've been a living garbage disposal today).
But the fun bit is that I very likely caught this from people not honoring social distancing. It's impossible to say where, but there's very few places I've been since I was being cautious and very few times I got close to people... which came in the form of people creeping up on me.
So, this could have gone a lot worse and it was probably because of somebody coughing on me or breathing on me or just being too close to me when I HAD to go get things like food. And panic buying means that I had to stay out way longer than I wanted to, store surfing to look for things that weren't in stock at store A, B, or C.
I'm lucky. But I could have ended up hospitalized because people are dumb shits. So, please don't be a dumb shit in case the next person you rub germs onto is not as fortunate as I've been. And also stop buying a thousand rolls of toilet paper. Thanks.

Great. Amazing. I have a sore throat and I’ve started coughing. The headache is nigh constant. I’ve had to use my rescue inhaler more in the past day than the past year. It’s starting. I’m praying its allergies, but I’m worried its worse.
I’m in the at-risk group because my lungs are shit, and I swear if I end up on a ventilator or dead because some chucklefucks don’t know how to behave in a goddamn emergency situation, I will fucking burn this mother down. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep myself safe, sans disinfecting shit because there’s no disinfectant left in the fucking city, and... I don’t know.
Please be something else. Please be anything else.

I know this is technically my Flight Rising outlet, but I’ve potentially run into some issues with my disabled brother potentially being jobless soon (due to some shit that violates the ADA), and I’m delving into the world of art commissions. Which is actually pretty exciting because I now have the time to do it, too, and I fucking love doing commissions.
Things I am good at: People, elves, anthros, animals, monsters, cartoons, and all manner of organic things.
Things I am not good at: Machinery, robots, photorealism, and a lot of science-fictiony stuff.
ADULT CONTENT STIPULATIONS: I don’t mind doing adult content (I actually kind of like it because it’s challenging), but I have a laundry list of conditions. I have the right to refuse anything, and I will not even consider it if asked to draw underage characters in compromising situations or if you’re a minor yourself. If you are seriously interested, you can privately message me and we’ll discuss.

Sketches- Uncolored, rough sketches. Messy and satisfying.
$10 bust | $15 full body | $3 for each additional character

Colored Sketches - Fun, quick, and to the point. Rough and painterly.
$15 bust | $20 full body | $3 for each additional character
BACKGROUNDS ARE BETWEEN $5 - $10 EXTRA BASED ON COMPLEXITY
Flat Busts - Uncolored, from the shoulder up. Transparent background.
$20 flat rate
Detailed Busts - Now with shading and flair!
$25 no background | $30 with background
Full Body Lite - Either flat or light shading, but a whole damn character
$32 no shading | $35 with light shading (one shading layer)
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS ARE $10
Full Body XTREME - Same as above, but with all the detail I can cram in.

Backgrounds between $15 and $25 depending on complexity
Reference Sheets - Flat color, full body, multiple angles, on the simple side

HIDDEN OPTION: Theme Collages - Physical media, which I will actually complete and ship to you. Prices vary based on size and materials. Given an option or a goal, I’ll mixed-media that on canvas for you.
HIDDEN OPTION II: Linocut Prints - I will make a simple linocut print for you based on a symbol, character, or what have you. This will be an expensive option because you get to keep the linocut plate for personal use. If you don’t want the plate, it’ll still be pricey, but we can negotiate. Call me.

Some things to keep in mind during social distancing!
Support your local small businesses, ESPECIALLY Asian-owned businesses! A lot of places are hurting for business right now, which means reduced hours or even layoffs for employees, which means more people struggling to pay bills or for groceries right now. Asian-owned businesses are probably being hit especially hard due to increased racism and xenophobia.
If you’re worried about being in contact with other people, check businesses’ Facebook pages! A LOT of my local businesses are opening up online orders, deliveries, and curbside pickup, and I’m sure a lot of yours are, too!
Second, support artists! With a lot of people experiencing financial issues, people who make a living doing art are probably struggling even more, because art is a luxury and one of the first things cut from budgets during financial hardship. If you can afford to throw some money to artists you like - in the form of Kofis or commissions - please do! If you can’t, you can still support them by signal boosting their commission sheets and reblogging their art.
These are scary times we live in, but the way through it all is through community and love! Help each other out as much as you can!

People seem really convinced that the sketches from the stream last night are set in stone or something. Undel was very clear that they’re just concepting about, and also acknowledged that a gem ancient breed should have more going on than the regular 4 leg 2 wing, and even joked that it was way too early to get attached to any designs, and cautioned that things could wildly change between the stream and the release.
Don’t get too attached but don’t get too discouraged either. This is still in deep concept stage and nothing has fully congealed yet. Did mention there might be another stream tonight to do even more concepts so hey!

In my whole “being stuck home” thing, I ended up sitting and going through the entirety of one of my oldest dragons’ lineages. I ended up finding a dragon that was for sale, so now I have his twentieth-great grandson.
I also bought a Gaoler from the person because, hey, I like the idea of this big, bulky moose dragon being his best friend.
So, meet Anazitisi and Melani. Anazitisi is a sheltered kid who decided to turn genealogy into an adventure. Melani is... trying to make sure he doesn’t get himself killed, since he can’t even suit himself up right.
