For as much as I side-eye Pokemon the media franchise beyond the video games, the sustained longevity and scope of it all, even just for one generation, makes it pretty plain why it's such a juggernaut. The phrase pronounced "da sarajinae" near the end of the song proper is, according to the official lyrics, "다 살아지네," which is translated as "I can live on." However, that pronunciation can also be heard and interpreted (more easily, I would argue as a native speaker) as "다 사라지네," the song's Korean title, which can be translated as "it all passes on" or "it all fades away" or "it all disappears.'

Which up until now has been just kind of a neat bittersweet note to end each Canto on. Then you hear it in Heathcliff's voice after all of Canto VI, and well, you know,

Like many people, Reload got me thinking about Persona 3 again, and there's been enough distance that I start to wonder if I still like it as much as I used to, so I revisited the stuff I remember liking and got reminded of the last decision you make in every version of the game, including Reload, which,
