Yakusoku no Neverland Recommendation / Thoughts
12 episodes and 181 chapters later, I have finally finished my journey with The Promisde Neverland by Kaiu Shirai.
What a journey it is really. Of course, this is all based on my preference but this manga was indeed a masterpiece with well-developed storyline and with carefully chosen sequence of events that reveals secrets and findings just at the right time.
Particularly, I would have to applaud the author in making sure that there are no plotholes, in keeping the excitement and suspense up without being repetitive, and being consistent with the characters’ character ‘til the end - which I feel are all things that most authors in this industry struggle with.
For short, I was really happy with the turn out of events. Inevitably, they are still so many critics on it especially with the ending (which I agree to a certain extent) but just taking the manga as it is, it is still exceptionally well-done. I believe that no matter what and how it ends, the author has proven himself to be amazing in figuring out situations, connecting the dots, surprising us with the unexpected, and with that, we all know that it’ll still end as to how it should be - 3 chapters or 10 chapters long.
Thank you Kaiu Shirau, you, Sir, are a genius. A word that is so overly used by me throughout the manga, that I feel like it started to lose its meaning halfway. Thank you for introducing me to the power trio and the best girl in the world; for creating such an excellent work that has little to no flaws and plotholes; for being consistent with the characters and crafting them with so much love and attention! Applause applause applause.
This manga might be fiction but the characters, the journey, the pain, the fear, the struggles, the joy, and the familiial love - they all seemed very real during the roller coaster ride I had with them. In fact, they would stay real.
All of TPN’s moments would stay alive in my heart, for this is one hell of a story.

Manga Chapter 152-153 UWAHHHHHH NORMAN youve gone through so muchhhhh. As much as i love the manga’s pace and revelation of events, I find that your 2 year’s worth at the Lambda plantation was not shown enough and I WANT MOREEE OF IT 2 years and youve accomplished so much even learning how to speak Demon’s language. I couldn’t fathom how much suffering and hardork you had to go through. My baby Norman <3
Anime Ep 12 - Isabella!!! I swear Isabella’s back story was so heartbreaking and in-depth, I am so glad the author kept to her character because I knew from the momnet they showed her past, that she is a good person. Oh the number of times she made me cry in the manga. HUHUHUHU
Mangna chapter 110 “Have faith in your judgement, Emma. And no matter what they result in, move forward. If it’s you.. if it’s you all, you’ll change the world“. THE LESSONS ARE SUPER ON POINT AS WELL. These are overpowered, amazing, smart and characters with so much potential we’re journeying with yo. In the real world, they might have been the next Bill Gates but they’re struck in the sick and wicked world. It’s so painful HUHUHU I cried real tears here and there.
Manga chapter 93 EMMA aka best girl aka who I aspire to be aka Perfection at its finest. I am reserving a whole blog post for you because you, girl are just... you make me speechless with your wholesome of a character.
YOU ALL FOUGHT SO WELL. THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING, REAL HARD. IN SPITE OF THE LITTLE ODDS THAT ARE FOR YOU. INSPITE OF THINGS BEING IMPOSSIBLE. INSPITE OF IT ALL. thank you for working and fighting so hard, because of that, we all can have hope. <3
