🥳Last evening I and my girlfriends had one of those three hours or more therapeutically girl talks, turns out is ‘pulling’ worth the effort or trouble 
 🛑🤔🤔Then I wonder what if we could capitalize on these three-hour talks, tailor them to reach and many females as possible and create a significant ripple effect.
👩🏽49.6% of the world population (7,713,468,100) are female whilst, 40.9% is in the 0-24 age bracket also commonly referred to as Millennials – those ages 22 to 37 in 2018  who have brought more racial and ethnic diversity.
Compared with previous generations, millennial women, like Generation X women, are more likely to participate in the nation’s workforce than prior generations.
Clearly, the strength of numbers we already have and studies show that when women are supported and empowered, all of the society benefits.
Water collection is a huge contributor to time poverty especially in developing countries like Uganda. 50.27 % of Uganda's population are women, subject to gender roles.
Nonetheless, the innovation of waterwheel a 45-liter rolling drum that moves 2-5 times as much water as traditional methods, was created by female entrepreneur Cynthia Koenig to help reduce the time women spend collecting water.
In parts of rural India, the use of the Wello WaterWheel has reduced the number of times women spend collecting water by more than 30 hours per week, time that can now be used in their fields, for their businesses, or on their studies.
A recent study by the McKinsey Global Institute showed that with gender parity, women could add as much as $28 trillion to 2025’s annual GDP.
In Malawi for example, one of the world’s poorest countries, closing the gender gap in just the agriculture sector would add $100 million to the national economy and lift close to a quarter of a million people out of poverty, according to a recent World Bank study.
In my opinion as women, being apart of such an impact will boost our fight against patriarchy.

This week my team of 4 young ladies participated in a national competition to represent Uganda at the all africa competition. We were the only second year all girls team in a competition predominated by 3rd and 4th yrs but boy didn’t you put up a competition. As soon the organizers found out that we were 2nd years they “claimed that we were to young to handle such a huge responsibility of representing a whole country. So we were indirectly put at the bottom of the table. The irony is even the other senior teams were in owe of our strength as a team. I think it’s a very narrow minded narrative to deny me an opportunity which I have earned and proved I can step up to just becoz you think I am young. I am still enraged but we are going to do the same event again and again! Just to prove a point. I am now more determined than ever.
