Don’t click the song until you’ve fully read this ask😠 Okay so, this song made me have Nat and Kat thoughts!!!
Imagine a universe where Kat was still taking missions from an organisation while Nat was at shield. So they both get orders to hunt the other and try to corrupt them and bring them into their organisation, and if they don’t succeed to kill them.
So they spend this time seducing the other, and it goes far too easily on both ends because they’re on the same mission. After a while they can’t help but develop feelings for the other and it hurts them. Knowing how this is gonna end and with no way out. So this mission is long term right, like a thing to have on the side while doing other missions too. So they spend a lot of time in this ‘fake’ relationship, maybe even years. And they deeply love each other.
So one day one of them decides to confess about the mission, and the other one does the same. They both refuse to leave their organisation at that time but they know they could never bring themselves to kill the other. They both tried to prolong this mission for their selfish reasons of just getting to be with the other but it’s reached it’s end one way or another.
But after considering every option they know sacrifices have to be made. So they come up with a plan where Kat vanishes, like a ghost. Going rogue completely, this requires her to leave her organisation, leave everything and become a ghost. This means she doesn’t even get to see Nat. Nat tells shield that Kat has vanished and her mission failed.
So they’re both heartbroken, knowing they let everything go way too far and that they’ve so deeply hurt each other. Nat wants to go look for Kat but she’s completely perfected being a ghost so she can’t. It’s only after so many years that Kat pops up again, after her old organisation is torn down she can come out of hiding and they reunite.

Kat and Nat as lawyers 🫠
Just imagine right, they both have their own law ferm, both extremely successful. So they take on this high level case that’s really big and complicated and they’re on opposite sides. So they have to communicate and they get soooo sick of each other and annoyed. Until some twist in the case happens and it’s clear that one of the parties has lied, let’s say Kat’s, so she knows that winning is practically impossible.
So her and Nat have had this tension right, so one night they both have the idea to just go to some bar and have a drink bc they really need it. So guess who they see? Each other!! A couple glasses of wine later and they’re going home together, they know it’s a bad idea but there’s that damn tension and they just find each other so intriguing.
So one drunk hook up later and they’re back in court, Nat can see Kat is not putting her all in like usual. She confronts her someplace that’s secluded and Kat doesn’t want to tell her obviously. And Nat finds herself somewhat worried so she offers to take Kat out for drinks or even just drink at her place.
So they’re at her place drinking and they’re so close to another hook up but in between make out sessions it’s so clear Kat is distracted. So she ends up telling Nat about how her client has lied and how she has no case to defend. And I’d say at this point they’re significantly closer than before like let’s say a lot more conversations happened in between and they both feel certain feelings for the other yk.
So instead of a hookup, they do end up in bed together but cuddling, just talking and getting closer Kat realises how much she hates her client and how he definitely should lose the case. So they set up a plan to help Nat win.
After that the case goes by quickly and there’s definitely some secret sneaky moments between them in the courthouse, office whatever. And in the end they combine their law firms and they run it together 😁
I just know they would wear the hottest outfits to the office, power suits and fancy dresses and everything. Their offices definitely don’t have windows to the rest of the building, only to the outside, and they’re definitely soundproof, for the plot
These AUs are killing me 😭 Just imagining this is HOT. Lawyers are powerful and hot. Them as lawyers in enemy firms is even better. Enemies to lovers?? Yes PLEASE 😫
The pantsuits, the tight pencil skirts, the buns. The heels. They're distracted by the other constantly and horny. The tension has always been there but it builds up during this case until it explodes literally.

Nat definitely tried to act all tough when the voice notes are sent, when in reality she’s a puddle 🤷♀️ and Kat sees straight through her ‘tough girl’ facade. She knows she’s weak for women
100%. Nat acts all though over text when Kat is sending them, but in reality she's a mess. She has to stand up and walk around while listening to them bc she cannot handle it. Okay so Nat and Kat are obviously huge simps for each other. And idk if you have like a voice you’ve imagined for Kat but for me it’s a lower kind of a bit raspy kind of voice. So Nat is obviously the biggest simp for said voice, and Kat knows this. So yk how Kat riles her up by sending muscle pics? She does the same with voice notes.
Kat will make a random voice message just talking about her day and throws in a few cute nicknames she knows Nat loves. And she acts all innocent about it, like “oh I just wanted to tell you about my day honey😇”
Nat either goes feral over it and will show Kat exactly what that does and will definitely make sure she hears more pretty noises from Kat. Or Nat just melts into a puddle and by the time Kat gets home she’s practically at her feet right as she walks through the door.

Sad thoughts!
Kat coming home from work to an empty house when she knows Maya is supposed to be home. She goes upstairs to check her room and finds Maya sitting there on the floor just crying her heart out. This may go with your angsty chapter you’ve got coming up, at least that’s what I think could be the reason for this breakdown. But I won’t put that here so everyone can imagine the reason for the crying for themselves
But Kat just sits with her and gets her to talk after a little. I fee like Nat is great at comforting Maya but with Kat there’s just this understanding and like the ability to really talk about it.
The upcoming angst won't be that angsty as you mean, but it's true, Kat can simply relate to mental problems more than Nat can. At least to a more intense degree. Maya really chooses which parent to go to, based on what she's struggling with. If she feels Nat would understand more, she'd talk to her.
Also, if she's talking to one parent, and they feel like the other parent could help her better, they would totally run and get that parent. They're not ashamed to admit that they may not be able to help the best 😊

trying to think of an au idea that’s kinda 101 Dalmatian’s inspired like imagine nat’s cat liho keeps bringing a one legged ginger cat with the name mimosa on the collar over (let’s say one is a girl and the other is a boy) and eating her food and crawling on her bed so natasha confront hers neighbour one morning about controlling her animal because they shouldn’t be on the bed while kat tells her that she needs to groom liho more because she’s finding black hair all over her brand new couch so neighbour wars start.
only to find a few weeks later, mimosa falls ill and turns out she’s pregnant which only amps up the war like imagine nat being like not my fault your cat gives it away so easily! and kat’s like TAKE THAT BACK! liho WILL be paying half of her vet bills for taking advantage of sweet innocent mimosa!
fast forward the two go from enemies to lovers when mimosa gives birth one night early and natasha is there to help her🥺
Omg idk how you keep coming up with these cool ideas but this is so good??? Some outside force forcing them to come together because it's the right thing to do?? Who doesn't like an enemies to lovers, and especially with cats 😫
