aw jeez, what a kind message, thank you! yes i am doing well thanks, feeling the healing. i don't think my burnout is going to go away fully until i finish widdershins, but that's okay- it's all planned out and mostly already scripted, and it feels more like i am excited for comics again! easing a deadline can really do wonders, it turns out.
there's 7 pages banked and ready to go- i'm gonna resume the site's updates when i have 10 ready, so we're not far off now, and i should have a nice buffer going ahead, which is a huge help. getting there...!

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

We've finally launched, with a modest collection of free works but one that hopefully sets the tone for what you can expect going forward. We have...
Prints!
Punk is a Playlist can be as decorative or as paggro as you like, depending where you hang it, while THINK is perfect for distribution at rallies, inside libraries, or slipped inside the free newspaper on the bus. Meanwhile Screamscape Harmonium is a purely silly tribute to extreme video game ads of the 90s (and part of the inspiration for starting this project, after one particular word of copy made it difficult to have professionally printed).
Art and graphics!
Falling Skyline and Alligator Feelings are older digital drawings being offered up for a new life as public domain pieces, while Daffodils by Any Means Necessary is a mixed-media painting created out of packing paper and old dried up art supplies specifically for Unprintable. Monster Backgrounds are a gorgous set of digital patterns designed for use as phone and tablet wallpapers (but don't let that stop you from using them elsewhere!)

All Rights Reserved is, suitably, about copyright, while The Tenant is about Palestine. You're welcome to print or perform these if you like (and I'd love to hear if you do!)

To to mark the launch of Unprintable, I wanted to officially invite everyone to the world of zine-making. The instant zine is a double-sided printable document that walks you step by step through writing, illustrating and folding your first attempt. Print it yourself and make a tiny book about something close to your heart, or print 30 and bring them to class! Anyone can give art away for free, it turns out.

LAUNCH GIVEAWAY - FREE ART TIME!
To celebrate the upcoming launch of my sensible freelance editing business and all-around senseless 'make more free art' lifestyle, I am giving away a whole bunch of my old print stock!
Included in the prize pool are some of my best-selling prints, and a lovely little glossy print edition of Under the Skin - a standalone experimental comic about love and decay.
Here's what you need to know:
8 winners will be chosen randomly from my Patreon followers - 3 Prize A winners and 5x Prize B winners.
Prize A winners will receive their choice of one large print (A3/poster size) and their choice of two small prints (A4/8"x10" size)
Prize B winners will receive a copy of the minicomic (A5) and all 7 postcards pictured (A6).
You do not have to purchase, like or reblog anything to enter. Obviously sharing is appreciated, but the only entry requirement is that you follow me on Patreon (the free tier counts!)
Depending how many people enter, I may add a new prize tier / increase the number of winners. This depends on numbers, I want the odds to be reasonable.
Winners will be chosen and announced on April 1st!
I've written about why I'm doing this here. Simply put: I'm tired of paywalling and ringfencing and worrying about how and why and when people are allowed to look at my art. I made it to be looked at. Nothing makes me happier than the thought of my work on someone's wall. So fuck it, take it.
I'll be relaunching a paid storefront on my website later in April, where you will eventually be able to buy many of these prints alongside new work. However, I will also be launching a free shop this Wednesday that will host original copyright-free artwork of all kinds, including hi-res prints you can download and print off at home. Keep your eyes peeled! I'm dying to give you stuff!

Speaking of hype machine lemons- is Dungeon Meshi actually good because I can't say I trust "manga suddenly becomes a Tumblr hit" ie actual quality lol, but I trust your ability to like things regardless or in spite of
its so good it made me physically angry because i didnt make it. it has jokes in it i wish i made and situations i wish i came up with. it is light in tone, all things considered, and makes me feel a renewed zest for comicking and a passion for being too deep into my own characters again
