Well, I’m calling it. It’s DONE.
I started this in October as a personal challenge, and while I clearly didn’t finish it by that time, I am really happy with all the work that I put into it. I definitely learned a lot and can’t wait to use what I learned in my next image, Breath of the Wild~
If you’re going to be at Titancon or AX, come by my table and see it in person! I’m hoping to have the full 24x36 image printed for AX as well, so you can look at all the details I put in! I’ll have more information as those dates get closer~

It's been a hot minute since I managed to put together one of my LoZ theme park playlists. This one is for a single attraction: Final Battle at Ganon's Lair!, the epic stunt show that takes place at Ganon's Fortress in the Dark World area. It's actually two playlists in one. The first half, with all the "final dungeon" themes, plays in the queue portion of the fortress while people wait for their turn to enter the amphitheatre. The second half, a variety of boss battle themes, plays in the amphitheatre itself between shows, while people are finding their seats and waiting for showtime!
Obviously, for a concept like this, there is a lot more music I could have included, but I figure this is a manageable length. Not to mention...gotta save some epic boss music for the stunt show itself!

Wind: You take off your boot, you look at your boot. You saw your boot, so you take the saw and cut your boot in half. Then you take the two halves and put them together. The two halves make a whole and then you crawl through the hole to escape.

Things Nintendo Should Do While They're Figuring Out the Next Big Zelda Console Release
Remake the Oracle games. Give them the Link's Awakening treatment, with the same cuddly art style and everything. And finally make Oracle of Secrets while they're at it. Seriously, I know next to nothing about the Oracle games because their presence in the fandom is so limited, and a remake project would give them a shot in the arm.
Legend of Zelda fighting game. Take the SSB engine and the cast of Hyrule Warriors Legends + Age of Calamity + any other characters they feel like including, and let us all go to town. There is literally no reason not to let us absolutely demolish, let's say, Calamity Ganon as, let's say, Romani.
Legend of Zelda turn-based RPG. Why not? TotK was like a dry run for "what if Link didn't have to do this all by himself every time." Lean in! Give him an actual adventuring party! Put ZELDA in it!
"Life in Hyrule" cottagecore sim game. What's it like living in the kingdom when everything isn't going to shit? Pretty cozy, I would think.

I was at a super small con last October and decided to take Archaic Link out- I did some of this build before Tears of the Kingdom actually was out, hence the non screen accurate belt. I prefer the beads and macrame I did anyway, so I’m not changing it. Still sort of struggling with the wig, though this was one of its better days. I’ve since upgraded my sandals to something that looks a little closer to the game too. Honestly, I go out in something like this and other people do not notice I have the wrong shoes or whatever, they are just excited about the whole thing or focus on the shield or my busted up sword. Those little things niggle at me and me alone.
Anyway, tiny con had an official photographer who thought I looked cool and shot a bunch of photos - this was held at a ski lodge in the off season, but it was pretty cold. We did what we could before getting chased back inside by the lodge staff and then I heard nothing for a few months. Which happens. I get photos taken at cons a lot by people and it’s rare for me to see them. I didn’t pay for a shoot, so I was kinda like ok whatever, I’m not going to get nuts about it.
And then one random day the photographer is like here are your photos! And yeah, we did some good work that day. Images are by rxsuperstar on IG
