A cool top in a classic style for everyone!
This would be a @deedee-sims 3t2 conversion, the Easy Going top. First for teens, adults and elders, and then later, for kids!
I've done 8 Recolors for all ages. In some timeless solids and stripes. Available for girl children too.
I’ve also tossed in 4 'girly' colors!
And, 4 recolors that are just for children forgot to take pictures of oops
Categorized for Everyday (I didn't want to enable these for Sleepwear personally; I think it's weird to wear 2 shirts to bed lol)

15-ish rounds ago, the Wanda Tinker had a glitch I mention pretty often in that big TS2 FB group. She had 11 babies from one pregnancy. I'm a monster, so I saved. Their infancy was rough. Their toddlerhood was BRUTAL. I'll do a throwback post eventually.
Now that they're kids, it's relatively easy. It required some big changes to their house though. They basically live in a dorm.
The 11 kids have alphabetical names for their birth order. Don't ask me to tell them apart. That's hard enough when I'm playing. Hell, it's hard enough with some twins. They also have a brother just a few years older than them who's also still a child, meaning there are currently twelve children living here, not 11.
Mel is in her 30's and has a family of her own. They'll get their own post the next time I play them.
I didn't take a ton of screenshots of the Tinkers this round, since it was only a "catch-up". I don't play every household every round. The ones that haven't been played in the last three rounds get played, in addition to the ones with a birth, birthday, or death.
This round was just a few days of regular, chaotic, crowded life.
Lots of fishing happened, which is a good supplement to the food budget.
And I mean lots of fishing. When you're an undectuplet (I guess that's the word), you never do anything alone.
Including waking up, I guess.
It was kind of a glitchy round for the Tinkers.
Second oldest Tinker child, sixteen year old Rhonda, had to dismiss the burglar from the porch. She was just kinda milling about. I have no idea.

There she is. Desdemona Goth, the only supernatural in my game. She believes she's a vampire, but is she really? Everyone humors her, because she's rich. When you have money, that kind of thing is "eccentric". I will say though, she looks outstanding for almost 60 years old. Maybe she really is immortal?
And nothing says vampire like eating Chips Ahoy, right?
(I really need to replace those cookies. It doesn't suit the look I'm going for.)
The wedding wraps up after this. The trouble with Summer weddings is the weather.
It didn't rain, but the heat was bad enough that basically everyone turned red. Dammit. Great way to end a pretty wedding, with everyone all flushed.
That's no way to cool down, you two!

Gotta have guests at a wedding, right? This was a fairly small party, just her family and a friend or two. The boy is Belladonna's oldest child, Mordred. He and his sister Discord live in the Goth Mansion with Cassandra and her husband, because of an inheritance rule that was decided by a poll at N99 in like 2008? My InSimenator forum post about it is still up, but the site is blocked at work, so I'll share that later.
Anyway... Cassandra and daughter Desdemona are front and center, not liking elephants. Too loud? Maybe the smell? We'll never know.
On the left is Belladonna's little sister, Raven. In blue is Piper Anderson, a friend. Center-ish is Vyn Harrity. She raised Belladonna and Raven, and is much more of a mom to them then Desdemona ever was. The little girls are Agatha and the aforementioned Discord, Belladonna's daughters. Agatha is one of two kids Belladonna has with her questionable new husband. Barnabas is still a toddler, so he's asleep in the castle.
There's the castle in the background, being all scenic while Vyn boogies down by herself and everyone else wonders what Belladonna is doing with this Jack guy.

Hey look! A post! The trick seems to be taking the screenshots to work with me and editing them there.
I still need to post about my gameplay style and all of that, but to sum it up, I play semi-wants-based. I let their wants guide me, but I do make choices for them sometimes.
This post is about how annoying wants-based play can be sometimes. This couple makes no sense, to a level I find both funny and frustrating.
He's Jack Kramer, a fluffy puppydog of a guy. She's Belladonna Goth, she lives in a castle, and her mom is a vampire. (More on her later.) These two....I really don't get it. She's a Romance sim and he's Popularity? Family? I honestly don't remember. He's not a sim I was eager to make playable. He's kinda whatever. And she's a gloom goddess. Annoying. She should be with someone so much cooler, and in an open relationship.
He's so happy. Look at this doofus.
She seems to agree with me. This will probably end in tears, with him taking the kids and leaving. She'll be fine, probably happier, when that eventually happens. You wanted this, Bel, against your own best interests.
It's a pretty wedding, but...yeah, ugh. Oh and he took her name? So now he's Jack Goth. This guy. Goth? Ok, sure. Whatever. At least she's not Belladonna Kramer. That would have been tragic.

I feel like several family trees in my game would trouble you. "Grandma is pregnant" happens fairly often, because I play with absurdly extended lifespans. My sims have ages that correspond to the way people age. I use InTeen and ACR, so before I started putting everyone on birth control there were a bunch of teen pregnancies. A sim who has her first child at 16 and her last at 48...pregnant grandma.
And then there's stuff like how Cassandra and Don had two kids together, then a bunch more with other sims. One of Cassandra's sons married one of Don's daughters. They have two older half-siblings in common, but aren't related to each other.
going darren/cass in a new pleasantview is silly to me only because. imagine being dirk dreamer and your dad is remarrying to the richest woman in the city and they are like "oh yeah you should meet her brother because he will be like your step uncle" and like this woman is younger than your dad but that's fine whatever but you're still expecting. an adult. and then you go meet him and its some weirdo 10 year old playing with barbies

I might finish Summer in my game this week. Maybe. I'm done with the routine stuff, but I have Dina's wedding, Nina's death and memorial, and the graduating teens' prom left to do. Lots of potential for crashes, so it could take more than a week to play those three/four events.
I'm still not sure about a gathering of some sort for the youngest children. Unless I made a math flub (possible) there are...somehow...68 children who aged up from toddlers in the last two rounds. (A year is two rounds in my gameplay.) I think that was the year that convinced me to put everyone on birth control unless they specifically wanted a baby. Truly out of hand. This isn't even the cohort that includes the Tinker 11-uplets.
...I really need to do an intro post already and actually post screenshots and all of that. Erg.

I've been thinking a lot about gatherings in TS2. Birthday parties, sure. Other parties? Maybe. I do proms every "year". But I could do more to bring my sims together.
With Nina's impending death looming over me, I'm starting to plan a memorial service for her. If I like how it goes, they might become a new tradition for my game.
On the other end of things, I'm considering doing kindergarten...graduations? Kindergarten prom? Mixer? A big party for all of the kids who just grew up from toddlers in the last two rounds. Maybe separate ones for the public and private school kids. So everyone who goes to school together knows each other. Teens shouldn't be meeting their ostensible classmates for the first time at the prom.
...I still need to write a big post about how I play my game. And actually post screenshots. I even edited some.

By the way, mom and dad are Tiffany and Harold Brock. Tiffany is John and Jennifer Burb's second daughter and Harold is Brandi's third son. Dustin and his two little brothers changed the family name from Broke to Brock a long time ago.
Even if you're a grandma yourself, seeing your mom goose your dad can still be embarrassing.

I've been trying to figure out what the first post here should be. My latest update of my neighborhood maps seemed like as good a post as any. Yeah, they're heading toward a year out of date. They're still a fairly decent overview of where my gameplay is.
You can see which names have taken over, who's moved and who hasn't, etc.
I don't count rounds, and I haven't played completely rotationally since the very start, but if I had to estimate what round I'm currently in, the answer is....
Round 133-ish
That's if we're counting from the very start of Pleasantview as it was when I first loaded the game in September 2004. Brandi Broke starts the game pregnant with her third child. I probably played that first "round" through her whole pregnancy, though I play pregnancies as two rounds now. I named her third son Harold. He was the first baby born in my game. He's 66 years old now.
...just writing that made me realize I should do a separate post about how I play. Look for that soonishly.
I finished the rest of my neighborhood maps, and they've been so helpful already. Posting them here for my own future use and for any lookieloos who like to see stuff like this from other people's games.
My fledgling custom suburb, Hedgecrest isn't shown, because of the image limit. See it here and here. Hedgecrest needs...something. Part of that something is shops.
No map for Sim State, because every household there gets played every season/round, and the map changes every two rounds.
