Your style in sculpting is so wonderful!! I've never seen a style anything like it!! I'm curious, have you done any digital artwork or you only strictly do sculptures? :O
Hey thank you so much, you are all so kind wow 😭
Yes I have! I am also a digital illustrator, I might create a new account to upload some of my drawings if you are interested! I am also trying out 3D modelling for the first time so maybe you can expect some digital sculpture in the future too 🧡

Love your work!!!!
Hi! Do you use wires when sculpting? Any tips/recommended tutorial vids for those starting out sculpting?
Hello waffity and sorry for the very late response!!
I do use wire and foil to create an armature for all my figurines! I think it's a very important part of the sculpting process as it helps you figure out the proportions of the figure and also helps to properly retain its shape, specially if you are using heavier clays like some air-dry ones. I also use foil to add some volume to the armature before adding the clay, that way you can save on materials and you will have a lighter figure in the end!
I have found some videos that could help you with this.

Here are some starting tips too!
- Think about the type of sculpture you want to do and find the correct clay to work with! I love using polymer clay because it's ideal for very detailed work and it's a very robust material once baked but you might need something different.
- Try some easy sculpting tutorials online to get the hang of it! This way you will get used to the new materials while achieving good results that will get you motivated to continue learning (you will probably end up with tons of cute sculptures too!)
- Have fun and don't be afraid to make mistakes!
I hope this will be helpful! If anyone has some questions about my work or needs some help with sculpting/polymer clay you can reach me out here and I'll gladly lend you a hand 🫡💕
