Happy Valentine’s Day
Always wished by my first love… on paper, sms & now on WhatsApp.
In the beginning, when a baby is in his mother's tummy, the two exist as one and same person. Then, they progressively separate and become two as the baby slowly develops his organs.
Inside the mother's belly, there is complete silence and darkness. The baby is entirely on his own, he is the something that exists in the middle of nothing. At around 5 or 6 months, the baby develops the capacity to hear. And the sound that he then hears is his mother's heartbeat. This heartbeat is his only connection to the world. It is also to him the only proof of his own existence.
In the dark, insensitive world, he is now connected to something. This heartbeat tells him that he is not alone, and more importantly that he is. As long as he keeps hearing it, he feels safe. This connection gives his existence a purpose. Love is the purpose of his existence. The rhythm of his mother's heartbeat is the rhythm of his own life.
Later, when he is born, his mother will pick him up and place him on her heart; he feels the connection again and can sleep peacefully (before he troubles or starts smiling at the nurses).
Unconditionally she never broke his heart!
