Sunday Sickness!! (I'm late, so feel free to save it for next week 🖤)
What would be each of your OCs' favourite part of visiting a theme park? Would any of them hate absolutely every aspect?
oh jeez, I'm so sorry for the late answer flick!
naoko: loves theme parks - especially the stuff where you can win things. the man is competitive and loves to spoil sevan rotten so he always needs to win at least one tiny thing! he does get a little motion sick however and therefore avoids going on rides.
sevan: has never been the biggest fan of theme parks but goes every now and then if he can't think of anything better to do. his favorite part is watching naoko be a try-hard at all the games lol
soyong: hates it. way too many people.
sungjin: also a big no. again, way too many people - you will never find those two at a theme park, not even on a double date with naoko and sevan
jaylen: LOVES everything about them. if he could, he'd go every day. that man let's his inner child roam free - he loves the rides, the games, the food, the people, just every damn thing. his favorite ever is disneyland and he will not shut up about it for weeks whenever he gets the chance to go
key: not a big fan at all but goes for jay. he doesn't hate anything in particular but he doesn't really like anything either. it's just not really his thing
joe: miss him with that shit. lots of toxic masculinity within that man - thinks theme parks are childish and therefore he will. not. go.
nick: doesn't really care for it. he'd probably enjoy it, if someone dragged him there but he wouldn't go by himself - definitely not going on any rides because he will puke.
leo: yes. yes. yes. why? the food! leo is an absolute foodie and he loooves all the sweet and all the greasy stuff you can get at theme parks. would definitely be eating all day. everything else there is just a bonus
cyril: would never admit it but he does like going to theme parks. he actually enjoys the rides and all the little activities but mostly he loves seeing his husband enjoy himself.

Hi Em!! Happy Sunday Sickness 🤩
I just reread the Leo/Cyril story, so I wanna know more about them!! How did they meet, how long have they known each other
Thanks for the question soup!!
Cyril and Leo actually met at a police station - Cyril was there for questioning (nothing to do with himself really) and when he arrived Leo was already there in handcuffs causing a scene haha. He had punched a racist officer square in the face and even though he was cuffed he was still screaming and kicking and two officers had to hold him back - he ended up being cuffed to a bench and Cyril fell in love right then and there. They got to talking, Cyril asked him out (my man has confidence and rizz, let me tell ya) and that's how their love story started. They've now been together for almost 3 years, married for two and a half✨

Sunday Sickness
Alright, a lot of sickfic authors demonstrated interest in it, so please reblog this post if you're a sickfic author (mostly emeto) and agree to get and send worldbuilding/OC questions to other authors during Sundays

i'm going off 1 hr of sleep total, so bear with me, but what do other emeto writers think of us having a fixed day in the week to send each other little asks? i see this in other sides of tumblr like "worldbuilding Wednesday" and basically you reblog a post saying you're participating and then in that specific week day we send asks to the people on the reblog list about their ocs/worlds/whatever

Hi!
I love all of your stories, and I was wondering if I could request one about Soyong's bulimia. Maybe something where he'd been acting weird all week after having a dinner date with Sungjin (y'know, weird behavior like eating very little and working out a bit), and at first Sungjin thinks it's a small stomach bug or something, but then he catches Soyong trying to make himself puke.
Sorry if this is a long request! But I just think that this would be such a cute story!!!
Hi, anon! I'm so sorry but I don't think I'll be filling this request.
Reason number one: Soyong has been doing incredibly well in his recovery and I just don't want to make him relapse.
Reason number two: Soyong and Jin have made a promise to each other that they'd never struggle by thenselves. Soyong wouldn't hide this from Sungjin + Jin would catch on wayy faster cause he is very familiar with the signs by now.
I am very sorry but please feel free to request something else<3

3 and 6 for Joe 🏳️‍🌈
thanks flick<3
How did your oc discover themself? Did something cause them to question, or did they always know?
There was never a specific event that made him question. Joe always kinda just knew, he was looking at men as much as he was looking at women and tbh he didn't care. Joe was never ashamed of himself in any way and never tried to hide his sexuality either. he doesn't really walk around promoting it but if you ask him, he'll tell you without hesitation. my man remains an unbothered king.
How does your oc feel about labels? Theirs or in general?
he does not care. he calls himself bisexual, even though he is technically pan just because he's simply never been interested in that stuff - he doesn't know better. he doesn't care about his own labels and neither does he care about anyone else's. don't get me wrong: he respects everything. every identity is valid to him - he just doesn't care what you call it. just tell him your pronouns and whatever else you feel is actually important and miss him with the rest.

hi can you please write something in which joe is really sick and unexpectedly throws up all over the floor, shocking nick (who was cuddling with his woozy bf two seconds ago) and is really vulnerable? usually tough characters being vulnerable is my jam! nick had to help him change and walk him to the bathroom/ help him to bed etc
Sorry this took forever!
characters: Nick and Joe warnings: emeto, dizziness
Joe does not need to be taken care of (but sometimes it's kinda nice)
"You okay?"
"Mh?"
"Are you okay?" Nick craned his neck to get a better look at the man lying on his chest.
Joe was acting weird. He was even less talkative than usual, not even greeting Nick upon arriving home. Instead, he immediately went in for a hug - something Nick had never seen him do in all the years they'd known each other. Then, Joe had stumbled around while taking off his shoes, giving the impression of a newborn foal, that hadn’t quite figured out how to use its legs yet.
The question of "what's wrong?" went unanswered as Joe simply buried his face in the crook of his boyfriend's neck. Said boyfriend was bewildered to say the least.
Since Joe obviously wasn't in the mood to talk, the pair had silently relocated to the couch, which is exactly where they'd spent the past 30 minutes.
Nick’s boyfriend had never been the cuddly type. Far from it actually. Which was fine with Nick, seeing as he himself was not the biggest fan of physical affection, although he didn't resent it either. For a total of 5 minutes, he even enjoyed his boyfriend's sudden change in nature. But the minutes went by, and Joe wouldn't get up. Or move at all for that matter. He simply laid there, his body pressed into Nick's, face buried just above his boyfriend's collar bone.
"Talk to me. What's bothering you?"
Joe groaned. His head was pounding - had been all day. Not to mention, that he was overall feeling like absolute garbage. Earlier at work he’d suddenly started feeling dizzy, momentarily having to put the needle down as to not mess up the tattoo. He pushed through that appointment but ultimately decided to cancel everything else for the day. The dizziness was unrelenting, washing over him in constant waves, that left him gripping onto counters in a desperate attempt to steady himself. The drive home was torture, the motion of the car making nausea join the colorful mix of ailments plaguing him.
So, considering all that, he'd be delighted if Nick could just stop bothering him. Unfortunately, he was very aware that that wasn't gonna happen.
"Nothing." He mumbled into his partner's skin, a feeble attempt to end the conversation quickly.
"Bullshit. You're not feeling well, are you?"
After a short pause Joe shook his head ever so slightly.
"Figured." Nick was pleased that his boyfriend had finally admitted to feeling unwell, so he decided not to bother him any further for the time being, instead turning his attention to the tv while mindlessly playing with Joe's hair.
Another couple of minutes went by and Joe had drifted into a light sleep. Nick on the other hand, was getting more concerned by the minute - while Joe had felt slightly warm before, there was now a concerning heat radiating off of him. He obviously had a fever, and it was getting worse. Nick knew he'd have to wake Joe up eventually, if only to get some medication into him.
But before Nick could make up his mind his boyfriend began to stir. He loosened his grip on Joe slightly to give him some room. The sick man settled down after readjusting himself for a couple of seconds, so Nick put his hands back onto his boyfriend’s body, holding him tight.
This peace lasted exactly five seconds before Joe shot upright. The next few moments Nick would later describe as “a series of unfortunate events unfolding in quick succession”: when Joe sat up so suddenly, his head connected roughly with his boyfriend’s lower jaw, making Nick yelp in pain. He couldn’t even finish his exasperated “what the fuck” before Joe’s stomach gurgled so loudly, it was audible for the both of them. Nick’s eyes widened as Joe doubled over and promptly threw up onto their hardwood flooring, as well as his pants.
There was no time for Nick to even comprehend what just happened – Joe, who was still half-sitting on top of his boyfriend, was already busy with round two, adding generously to the puddle on the floor. The blonde didn’t have much room to move, and he felt like shoving Joe off him would hardly be helpful right now, so he settled for gently rubbing his boyfriend’s lower back.
It wasn’t long until Joe threw up for the third time. While the first two waves had come up effortlessly, this one was thicker, and he coughed and sputtered around it. His head felt like it was being split open as he heaved and panted. Usually, he’d be mortified right about now but in his current state he couldn’t care less about who was with him. And luckily it was only Nick anyway.
After that round it seemed like Joe was done for the time being. Nick took the opportunity to wiggle out from under his boyfriend so he could inspect the damage in its entirety. It took him every ounce of strength he could muster not to gag at the site. Their living room looked absolutely horrifying with vomit all over their floor as well as their living room table and of course, Joe himself. Nick was honestly baffled at the fact that he himself had remained clean amongst all of this.
All the while Joe was fighting to stay conscious. When he began tipping to the side, his arms failing to hold his body up any longer, Nick finally snapped out of his shock.
“Woah, hey.” He grabbed his boyfriend by the shoulder, scooching closer so that Joe could lean against his chest. Nick gently wrapped his arms around his partner’s torso.
“Take a couple of deep breaths, don’t pass out on me.” And so Joe did. They sat like that for a good five minutes, both breathing deeply in and out, before Joe finally began to come around.
He sat up, immediately groaning at the pain is his head, which seemed to worsen with every little move. Nick rubbed his back comfortingly, allowing his boyfriend to take all the time he needed.
“How are you doing?”
“Awful.” Joe’s voice sounded raspy and weak – just overall so very unlike himself. Nick couldn’t help but pity him.
“You need a shower. Desperately.” He expected a snarky remark, instead his boyfriend simply nodded. Gosh, he was pathetic, and Nick hated it. This version of Joe sucked, and he was going to fix it. Now.
“Okay, let’s go.” Nick decidedly got to his feet, pulling Joe up with him. He swayed a little on his feet but managed to stay upright.
So, Nick gently led his woozy boyfriend towards the bathroom, never once taking his hand off Joe’s back. He sat him down on the edge of their bathtub and went to grab some clean clothes.
Joe stayed quiet and kept his head down. While Nick undressed him and then himself. While Nick helped him shower. While Nick dried him off. Even while Nick put the new clothes on him.
“Okay, let’s get you to bed so I can get started on cleaning the living room.” Only then did Joe look up at his boyfriend. He was still so unbelievably dizzy but even in the midst of his own discomfort he couldn’t help feeling apologetic.
“I’m sorry.”
If you listened really closely, you could hear Nick’s heart shatter into a million little pieces. He looked at his boyfriend with nothing but pure pity on his face.
“Don’t apologize. You’re sick as hell. I’m just worried about you, that’s all. Let’s just get you to bed.”
Joe wanted to argue further, tell his boyfriend he could clean the living room himself, but ultimately decided against it. Nick would argue back, and Joe was just way too tired for that.
Therefore, he once again let his boyfriend lead him, this time to the bedroom. He hated this, quite frankly. Nick was making him feel like a child that needed to be taken care of. And Joe did not need to be taken care of.
But for some reason, he found himself staying quiet, when Nick quite literally tucked him in. Somehow, he was actually feeling somewhat contempt. Which, of course, he’d never admit out loud. So instead of putting up a fight, like he usually would, he just went with it. And thank god he did, because putting his aching head on the cool pillow felt like nothing short of heaven. Nick smiled as Joe immediately closed his eyes, he sighed however, when he remembered the state of their living room. Well, he had no choice but to get started. Luckily, he’d do anything for Joe – cleaning a little vomit was definitely something he could handle.

may i humbly request a character getting sick in the car without anything for them to puke into except a small bag or cup, leading to your preferred variety of chaos and/or misery?
thank you so much for the request, nonny! I hope this is enough chaos for you haha
characters: Leo and Cyril warnings: emeto and slight emetophobia
Leo, please!
Leo was not a good passenger. Never had been, never will be. The problem? He was an even worse driver so unfortunately; he was stuck on the passenger side most of the time.
Leo had been a fairly anxious person ever since he could remember. And his anxiety while driving a car was off the charts so he usually tried to avoid that. He was an anxious passenger as well, using his imaginary brakes, whenever Cyril just got a little too close to the car ahead of them and gripping the door and closing his eyes at any minor issue. Cyril had gotten used to that over time.
He’d even gotten used to Leo’s occasional “Watch out!” when there was absolutely nothing to watch out for, although it used regularly gave him heart attacks back when the pair had first started dating.
What Cyril was not used to in the slightest was his husband being silent. In all those years they had known each other, Leo had never been silent. Usually, he was quite the opposite actually. Cyril had never in his life met anyone as energetic and chatty as his husband. He was simply a constant source of noise. So, Leo being quiet was honestly unnerving to Cyril.
The older man took his eyes off the road for a moment, to look at his partner.
“Are you okay?” Leo nodded but he didn’t look at Cyril, intently staring out of the window instead.
He wasn’t feeling well, and he had absolutely no idea why. The drive had been going smoothly so it wasn’t anxiety. He hadn’t had any food yet today, the only thing in his stomach being an iced coffee from Starbucks. But for some reason he was feeling nauseous as hell, and it was getting worse by the minute.
“I know when you’re lying. Even when you’re not doing it verbally.” Leo sighed at his husband’s scolding.
“I know, I’m sorry. I’m just not feeling well.”
“What’s bothering you?”
“Stomach.” Cyril looked alarmed at that revelation. Leo never got carsick. Which also meant that they had absolutely nothing to be sick into. And on top of that, they were on the freeway right now, so pulling over was most likely not going to be possible anytime soon.
“Are you gonna be sick?” He was praying to god Leo’s answer would be no.
“I don’t know. Maybe.” Well shit.
Now that Leo had told his husband he wasn’t feeling well, his nausea seemed to increase tenfold. He put a hand onto his rolling stomach, in a desperate attempt to calm the angry organ. But as the time went on it was getting more evident by the second, that he was going to be unsuccessful.
“You’re gonna have to pull over.”
“What?!” Cyril whipped around to look at Leo. He had a hand covering his mouth as a silent but forceful gag made his body jerk forward.
“Leo! Do not throw up in my car!” Another gag brought tears to Leo’s eyes.
“Leo, please. I’m begging you. Just give me a chance to find an exit.” Cyril was pleading but his husband’s stomach wouldn’t have it.
Leo looked around frantically, painfully aware, that the next heave would be productive, and his eyes landed on his empty coffee cup. He managed to get the lid off just in time for a wave of vomit to rush up his throat.
“Leo!” Cyril had never been the type to handle vomit well. The puke itself technically didn’t bother him too much but unfortunately, he had the tendency to get sympathy sick. So, when he heard the painful retch tearing up his husband’s throat he couldn’t help but gag as well.
There was an exit coming up and Cyril almost breathed a sigh of relief, if it hadn’t been for the cup. Because the cup was clear, Cyril could see what was inside of it – as well as the fact that it was basically full. And Leo looked far from done.
“Dear Lord, Leo please.” He knew it wasn’t Leo’s fault, but he was at a loss. They still had about an hour to go and the idea of vomit in his car made Cyril shudder.
Leo was trying. He really was. He’d only brought up two waves so far, but the cup was dangerously close to overflowing and his stomach was still revolting inside of him. He briefly had time to feel bad for Cyril before he went back to pitying himself. Why did he always have to end up in such predicaments?
He hadn’t even noticed the car was stopped, before Cyril threw upon the door on the passenger side.
His stomach got the memo before his brain did, so he only had time to lean to the side before another rush of sick noisily gurgled up his throat and landed on the pavement. Nope – judging by the yelp his husband let out, he’d definitely thrown up onto Cyril’s shoes.
He heaved emptily a couple more times, but Leo finally felt a bit better. He looked up to apologize to his husband, but Cyril was preoccupied with trying to keep his stomach in place as he was gagging a couple of feet away.
Leo was about to get out of the car, when he realized he was still holding a cup full of his vomit. The sight made him cringe and gag again but luckily nothing more came up. He placed the cup on the pavement to be dealt with later and stepped out of the car.
By the time he had reached Cyril, his husband had calmed down. Leo had to laugh a little bit at Cyril taking deep breaths. It was rare to see his husband lose his cool like that. Before he could say anything however, Cyril spoke up.
“Are you feeling better?”
“Yeah. Listen, I’m sorry.” Cyril waved him off.
“No need. It’s not like it was your fault.” Leo nodded but he still felt bad. And Cyril knew. Cyril always knew. So, he hugged his husband as tightly as he could without upsetting his stomach. Leo breathed in Cyril’s scent – a perfume he himself had gotten his husband and immediately relaxed.
“Ready to get back in the car?” Leo sighed but he knew they had to. Luckily, he was feeling better so there was a chance they’d make it home without incident. He’d hold onto that hope.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
“Just give me one minute to clean my shoes.” Leo had completely forgotten about that. However, watching his husband retch hard enough to bring tears to his eyes as he tried to wipe vomit off his shoes in the grass was quite amusing to him.
“I love you!” Leo found himself hilarious as he yelled over to his partner.
“I love y -hurp you too.”

fluffy sick sungjin and soyong:)
this is pretty short but I hope you still like it<3
characters: Sungjin and Soyong warnings: general sickness and dizziness
Nothing else matters
“Jin?” Sungjin sighed. This was the third time Soyong had called him since he’d started making dinner twenty minutes ago.
The pair had had a rough couple of days. As a teacher, Sungjin was always at danger to catch any type of sickness floating around at school. Five days ago, he’d come home with a pounding headache, stuffed sinuses and an awful mood. The only thing he was looking forward to was getting doted on by his lovely boyfriend. That worked out for about twelve hours.
The next morning Soyong woke up sweating and nauseous and a quick check confirmed he had a pretty nasty fever, too. So the two of them tried their best to take care of each other while both of them recovered from the flu.
It’s been a couple of days now and the two were finally on the mend. Sungjin however was still dealing with god-awful body aches that practically had him chained to the couch. His boyfriend had woken up feeling lots better, so he swiftly decided to prepare the first proper meal the pair had in a week.
Unfortunately, Soyong had majorly overestimated his body’s condition and quickly found himself dizzy enough to be swaying on his feet, when trying to get a bowl from the top shelf.
Sungjin dragged himself into the kitchen, his joints screaming at him as he got up. He found his boyfriend leaning heavily onto the counter, head tilted back and taking deep breaths. He walked up to Soyong and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend’s stomach who immediately put his head onto Sungjin’s chest in return.
“Can you get the salad bowl from the shelf, please?” Soyong panted, still fighting the wooziness that came with his unrelenting fever.
“I don’t think cooking was a good idea, huh?” Jin mumbled into his partner’s shoulder, deeply breathing in his all too familiar scent. To Sungjin, there was nothing more comforting.
Soyong smiled sadly. “No, I guess it wasn’t.”
“Then how about we put all of this back in the fridge, go back to cuddling on the couch and then we’ll order some pizza?”
As much as Soyong was disappointed in himself for not finishing what he had started, Sungjin’s suggestion sounded heavenly right now. So, he just nodded and let his boyfriend lead him over to the couch.
The pair all but collapsed into the cushions. Sungjin was laying on his back and pulled Soyong onto chest, instinctively feeling the back of his neck. As expected, he was warm but fortunately nothing compared to the last couple of days.
“You should take some Tylenol for that fever, baby.” He didn’t get an answer from his boyfriend but he hadn’t expected one either way. Soyong was responsible when it came to his health so he’d probably already taken some Tylenol anyway.
“Hey, what kind of pizza do you want?” Once again, silence. This however was a question that kind of required an answer, so Sungjin tried again.
“Baby? Do you want pepperoni pizza?” When he received no answer for the third time, Sungjin took a closer look at his boyfriend. He had to crane his neck quite a bit to get a look at Soyong’s face, and he couldn’t help but smile when he realized what was going on.
He’d fallen asleep. In those few minutes they’d been on the couch, Soyong had actually managed to fall asleep. Sungjin wasn’t mad though. His boyfriend clearly needed it.
The pizza could wait. For now, Sungjin was more than happy to simply listen to his boyfriend’s rhythmic breathing as he slept off his fever.
Nothing else mattered in that moment. Not the fact that Soyong was starting to drool on him and not even the fact, that his back was screaming bloody murder. All the mattered was Soyong getting better so Sungjin would continue to hold him like this – forever, if necessary.

Not sure if this is what you mean by simple, but: how about a sickie waking up in the middle of the night to be sick, and the caretaker following them to check if they're okay? 🖤
Thank you so much, Flick! I had loads of fun writing this, even though it's not my best work haha
characters: Nick and Joe warnings: emeto
You should have told me earlier
As a bartender Nick very rarely spent evenings at home. Joe had gotten used to that over the years. Most days he even cherished the time to himself, knowing that him and Nick had always done better when they were not spending every minute together. Today however, he couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed.
It was Nick’s first night off in weeks and the two of them had planned to spend the evening together watching The Walking Dead, as they usually did whenever they could find the time. But about one and a half episodes in Nick had decided to go to bed, stating he was too exhausted to stay up late tonight. Of course Joe was bummed – he couldn’t continue watching by himself, since they always did that together. Going to bed wasn’t an option either seeing as Joe was far from tired. So instead, he took to working on a couple designs he still had to finish.
As much as he loved drawing, working was simply not how he had imagined spending his night.
It was now half past two at night and Joe had been working well over four hours. Exhaustion was pulling at his eyelids and he was about to wrap it up when Nick suddenly emerged from the pair’s shared bedroom. He walked straight into the bathroom down the hallway and closed the door, without even glancing at Joe on the couch.
That in itself wasn’t weird – Nick often times went to the bathroom at night. The guttural retch that immediately followed the sound of the door closing however, was a little out of the ordinary.
Joe sighed. He hated having to be comforting almost as much as he hated being comforted. He put his ipad to the side nevertheless and got up. He instinctively held his breath upon entering the bathroom. The sight that greeted him was nothing short of pathetic.
Nick was leaning against the wall, barely holding himself up with one hand while the other was wrapped protectively around his stomach. There was a considerable amount of vomit not only in the toilet but around it as well, including the seat. Joe cringed as another large wave of puke gurgled up his boyfriend’s throat and noisily splattered into the toilet bowl.
He was hesitant to approach his boyfriend who seemingly hadn’t even noticed Joe come in. But Nick was drenched in sweat and  his legs were shaking, ready to give out any second. Although reluctantly, Joe took a step forward to put a hand on his boyfriend’s heaving back – the sick man flinched in return.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you.”
Nick didn’t answer. In fact, he couldn’t answer as just in that moment a fresh wave of foul liquid rushed up his throat.
His knees wobbled and Joe draped a hand around his torso to keep him from faceplanting into his own sick.
“Sit down, you can hardly stand.” Nick didn’t care. Right now he couldn’t even tell left from right and up from down. His body was consumed by the intense nausea that, regardless of how much he threw up just wouldn’t relent. He head felt like it was stuffed with cotton, his vision blurry and his ears muffled. Moving, no matter which way, seemed entirely impossible at the moment.
“Please Nick, you’re making a mess.” When Nick still didn’t budge, Joe did the only thing he could think of: he grabbed his boyfriend with both hands and gave the back of his left knee a little nudge. It didn’t take much to make Nick’s legs buckle and Joe managed to lower him onto the ground, just in time for another productive heave. Since the toilet seat was covered in sick, he held onto his boyfriend’s hands, to keep him from touching it.
The vomiting seemed to last forever. Wave after wave landed in the toilet and Nick couldn’t do anything but pray to every god he could think of to make it stop. Joe had no idea how to help either, so he opted to sit in silence, with one hand on his partner’s back while the other was still holding his hands in place, occasionally pounding on Nick’s back when he seemed to choke on another wave of vomit.
Almost twenty minutes of constant puking had passed, when Nick finally leaned back to take a couple of deep breaths. Joe reached around him to flush the toilet and rip off a piece of toilet paper to hand to him. For the first time in hours Nick spoke: “I’m sorry.”
“Not your fault.” Joe wasn’t exactly the most comforting person but Nick appreciated the sentiment nonetheless.
“I feel like shit.” Nick blew his nose and threw the paper into the toilet before flushing a second time. He could finally hear and see clearly again but now his head was throbbing, his stomach was cramping and the sweat running down his body was making him feel all kinds of awful.
“You should have told me you weren’t feeling well earlier.” It sounded rather harsh but even in his hazy state Nick knew his boyfriend was simply concerned for him.
“I wasn’t feeling bad earlier, just tired. I don’t know what happened, I just woke up and knew I was gonna puke.” Joe cringed. Nick’s voice was completely shot from all the retching.
“Okay well how about you take a shower and I clean up this mess? You’re soaked in sweat.”
Nick looked around – he hadn’t even realized he had made a mess, but Joe was right. Their bathroom was more than disgusting.
“Are you sure? I can try and clean this up myself.” He meant it but Nick wasn’t exactly certain he could actually do it. He was feeling about ready to topple over.
“Positive. Up you go.” And with that Nick was being hoisted off the floor. Black spots started dancing in his vision immediately and he had to grip onto Joe to keep from falling over. Joe gently placed Nick on the edge of their bathtub where he placed his head in his hands.
“Take some deep breaths. Are you alright?” Nick exhaled sharply before nodding.
They sat in silence for a while – Nick concentrating on his breathing while Joe got to cleaning, all the while keeping an eye on his ailing boyfriend.
He startled slightly when Nick began to chuckle. For a moment Joe could only stare at him, fearing that his boyfriend was getting delirious from dehydration.
“What on earth are you laughing about?”
Nick lifted his head to look at his boyfriend. Joe was staring at him with wide eyes which only made him laugh harder. “I just can’t believe you really kicked me just to make me sit.”
Joe rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t help the little smile that crept onto his lips. “Oh, come on, don’t be dramatic. I didn’t kick you. I just gave you a gentle tap.”
“Ah, that’s what that was.” Nick started to laugh even harder.
Well, maybe he really was getting a little delirious. But they would take care of that.
