i feel you on the games being thinly veiled capitalist money-grubbing schemes (unless i totally read you wrong, then that’s just my own view and my sincerest apologies on the misunderstanding). i had to delete the niantic game in like .8273 days and i vowed to my death not to spent a cent on this game bc a) gotta pay the bills and b) i just wanna be a 🐍🐍🐍 witch, wear my robes around the castle, pretend i stepped in places before harry and draco did, and find my new brother jacob that i didn’t know i’d love to bits but here i am and i’m trying to not let jam city take that away from me oh no now i’m rambling

i personally semi-wrote off jk a while ago and ignorantly haven’t kept up with hp current events so i can’t knowledgeable speak to any of the new statements she’s made... 😔 but she did give me something magical in the beginning and i dearly wish she would have left us all the room to use our imagination instead of going the directly she did, but alas. i truly hope the hp/hphm fandom can one day again be a place you feel home in (if you want it to be), and if you choose not to, thank glob there’s a whole world of fiction to immerse ourselves in anyone also a digimon fan asking for a friend??? 😭😂

like okay this game is fire but i also sorta kinda pretend to have an adult life and i couldn’t complete the talbott timed event TWICE??!? and it literally made me cry tears that would overflow the black lake and now covid is the only reason i crawled my pathetic ass back to this masterpiece of a game that has the potential to ruin me forever glob help us all.
