❥ Not wanting to possibly upset his new friend any further, Nanase agreed to get on the bus posthaste, even if he had no money on him. ❝W-What?? Number 12 bus...where?!❞ ❥Nanase was both flustered and confused, seeing that a complete stranger had outright asked him if he were catching a bus right into Satan’s ass. Maybe it had to do with some lesser-known religion? But then again, it was a better way to start a conversation compared to anything he could do. If only trash like Nanase were able to come up with ideas as magnificent as this...strange person has-- Wait, she thought he was homeless?!

❝Well, um... No, but I’m not homeless! I just prefer instant ramen to other foods!❞ ❥Well, it was to be expected since this was someone who he had never seen before. Nanase knew everyone in the area and everyone knew of him. So she was someone new in town? Did she know of Mutter?! Maybe she could add him...

“Catching the number 12 bus to Satan’s asshole?”

She looked at the guy next to her, standing on the lonely corner. She figured she should make some friends, seeing as she would be living in this place for the rest of her life.

The guy was short, but didn’t look as young as he seemed. Skinny boy; must be homeless.

❥ Nanase acted oddly. Different than what was to be expected of him. Instead of laughing or acting surprised, he sat down. Letting Misane lean on him, he leaned back, only slightly. It wasn’t obvious, but anyone who knew him could tell that he wasn’t normal– Nanase normal.

❝Hey, Misane, thanks.❞

❥ His lack of sleep had bothered him to the point where he began to think that he was an insomniac. He’s felt anxious. This… Made him feel a lot better.
