*NEW BLOG POST ALERT!* Beyoncé's recent interview in Vogue Magazine, where she shared that "her and her little fup" are meant to be", sparked a strong reaction on the internet, and so many moms were glad to hear her be so real about what your post-baby body is really like! * So I thought it would be fun for me to give you some solid comebacks to use, when your haters try to body shame, or “mom-shame” you, about your body postpartum. * Check out today's blog post entitled, "5 Liberating Comebacks For Anyone Who Tries To Mom-Shame You Postpartum (Inspired by Beyoncé’s “Fupa")", and post a comment on the blog post with your thoughts. * "To this day my arms, shoulders, breasts, and thighs are fuller. I have a little mommy pouch, and I’m in no rush to get rid of it. I think it’s real. Whenever I’m ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my ass off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be." ~ @Beyonce * What did you think about what Beyoncé shared in this interview? Let's chat about it in the comments below!

Do you write in a journal on a daily basis?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Writing in a journal may help you notice certain patterns in your feelings to determine what it really is... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (How to beat the summer blues) Get clear on what you’re feeling and why. It’s important to understand what you’re feeling, and where those feelings are stemming from. Are you feeling irritable and sad because you’re just overtired, and need to rest, or are you dealing with depression? Are you constantly in a bad mood, and feeling frustrated all the time, because your partner is not supporting you the way that they should, or do you need to start saying no more often, to free up more of your time and energy? Write down your thoughts, and your feelings, and then dig a little deeper to discover what is the root cause of those feelings. From there, you can determine what you need to do to resolve them, and get on a path to feeling better.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Comment and read more at bit.ly/makeitfunblog

Are you upset with your Dad a father in your child's life?  (Untraditional Father’s Day Gift Ideas That Every Busy, Working Mom Needs To Give) bit.ly/makeitfunblog   Give the gift of #FORGIVENESS. Let’s just get this out of the way, shall we? I don’t know what type of relationship you have with that special father in your life. But I do know that everyone needs to be forgiven from time to time. Whether it’s your husband, who forgot to do that important thing you asked him to do (again!), or your child’s father who cancelled on you (again!) when he was supposed to pick up your child, holding on to unforgiveness, is just not good for your mental health. Not forgiving someone who hurt you, keeps you in a mental, emotional, and spiritual prison, as you wait for them to repay a debt, that they have no intention of ever repaying. Waiting for an apology that you may never get, will keep you bitter, and missing out on true happiness in your life. Do yourself a favor, let it go! There is no power in unforgiveness, and there is no freedom in resentment. It diminishes your quality of life, because it shifts your focus from gratitude, to anger and bitterness. Whatever happened is done, and you cannot change the past. You also cannot control what other people choose to do. Give it to God. Let it go. Free yourself. Give the gift of forgiveness today.
