I had a dream that a nearby town was having a Shrimp Fest. It wasn’t like, about eating shrimp. It was about revering shrinp. Main Street was blocked off like a street festival, and rows and rows of aquarium tanks on wheels lined the roads, each with hundreds of shrimp of all kinds of different colors and shapes and sizes. It was amazing. A street performer was weaving in and out of the crowds of tourists and attendees, screaming the lyrics to the Black Parade over and over. Then, an omnipresent voice boomed “here come the big boys” and a palpable fear beset the crowd as 5-10 horse sized landshrimp came skittering into the street. One looked me in eyes and said, telepathically“be not afraid” and I was no longer afraid. The big boys were beautiful and terrible. I rode one like a horse for 200 dollars. Then a smaller shrimp had a booth that said “Skramp (it was spelt like that) Advice. I walked in, and the shrimp was like “what’s your problem, dude?” And I told him everything that was wrong with my life and how sad and frustrated and angry I was and he looked me in the eye and said “that’s rough bro. You should probably burn down your house.” And in my dreaming mind that fixed EVERYTHING. So I thanked him, and he just told me to “stay Skrampy. “ i wandered to a massive circular tank called the nursery where millions of little shrimp fry were chilling. For some reason, I had a crystal Pepsi in my hand. I poured it in the tank so the fry would grow up to be “strong and beautiful.” I was thrown to the ground by a shrimp armed with a Glok and summarily executed in the street. I woke up in a cold sweat, heart racing.
