Joshua watched her for a moment. The young man crossed his arms over his chest as Kim walked toward the boy. For a moment, he actually thought that she was going to make sure the boy was okay and then come back to him. However, that didn't happen. Narrowing his eyes slightly at Kimberly, he knew that the vampire knew he wasn't happy with her 'kindness' toward the boy. Her boyfriend was right there, but instead she was spending with some loser. Annoyed with what he was saying, Josh counted until three under his breath, trying to calm down his temper. If she didn't come back in two seconds, he would rip the boy to shreds.

“You’re an ass.” Kim said bitterly, puffing while she made her way towards the embarrassed boy — who somehow stuck around and ordered himself something eat. Brave kid. She smiled in his direction and asked politely if she could sit next to him. The boy nodding, she sat down on the chair near her and asked the waiter to come get her order.

       ❝ Do you want me to die? How ungrateful of you, sister-in-law. ❞

      ❝ Fine, fine. What do you want me to do, Cathy? ❞

“Stop being such a drama queen and help me out. Or you’ll be the one who cries.”

        ❝ Oh She Wolf, seriously? You know kids hate me. Scarlet is going to cry and Hudson boy is going to blame me. ❞

“Oh shut up already. Do me a favor and hold your niece why I try to clean this stain.”
