2024 Diary Entry No. 2

I just filed a report to the police online because if I were to stab his face, then I'd lose everything to the system for involuntary manslaughter, so I had to report his ass, because enough is enough!

I went to the store, bought me a can of Diet Coke, and got a dollar for Puppy's blunts; no McDumbass in sight, as I walked alone. I left my phone to charge, as it's dying. I'm not even traumatized anymore. I'm no pussy. I'm no punk ass bitch, either.

Anyway, I'm watching ADC with my Pops, as I write this entry, waiting for my dearly beloved to come and pick up his total on the blunts he needs....which was disappointing to him, so I'm not talking. Bringing the dumb shit up is giving me heartache, which is what I don't need, but I'm going to make it go away with reading and job applications. One side believes I will get the job I'm looking for. The other side doesn't. I'm going to rescue myself regardless.

I'm reconciling with Ricky, but it's going to take some time before we become official again, so I'm going to be patient, trust in the healing process, and have faith in myself while I'm recovering. In the meantime, I'm going to read. In fact, I've created + posted four reading videos in less than 24 hours.

I'm making a to-do list for today. I'm going to stick to that list, so that way, I won't get flustered with frustration. I'm not giving up on myself.

At this hearing, I stand before my fellow members of The Tortured Poets Department with a summary of my findings.

When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music.  Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another. For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration. I’m still laughing from getting to work with the coolest guys on earth, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles (tortured poets, meet your colleagues from down the hall, the dead poets). I still can’t believe I get to work with the unfathomably brilliant Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography and my team of dream collaborators: Ethan Tobman (production design), Chancler Haynes (editor), Anthony Dimino (1st AD), Jil Hardin (producer) and Dom Thomas (executive producer). Parliament aced the VFX as always. Joseph Cassell, Lorrie Turk and Jemma Muradian made these tortured looks come to life. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a law that prevents cities or counties from creating protections for workers who labor in the state's often extreme and dangerous heat. Two million people in Florida, from construction to agriculture, work outside in often humid, blazing heat. For years, many of them have asked for rules to protect them from heat: paid rest breaks, water, and access to shade when temperatures soar. After years of negotiations, such rules were on the agenda in Miami-Dade County, home to an estimated 300,000 outdoor workers. But the new law, signed Thursday evening, blocks such protections from being implemented in cities and counties across the state.
