Just learned that Crypton actually isn't making bank with their gsc figures, other merchandise, pjsk, and needs to have sponsors for concerts and to support their other projects. It's sad to know that they're not getting the money for their projects and expand on them.

It explains why we haven't gotten another project diva game along with getting fully original 3d animated mvs for Mega Mix or Future Tone for some of the songs that were added. Sega could easily give more funding for that to happen but that's not happening.

It also explains why Miku Expo has been all over the place. Crypton needed a sponsor to fund the tour but with Crunchyroll being the main sponsor, they didn't cough up the money to provide a quality experience like the previous years. So, it leaves the question if they're going to be able to do Miku Expo again next year if they decide not to stick with Crunchyroll or not.

I hope that Crypton will be able to get out of the money mess that they're in right now and be able to make the projects that they want without worrying about it.

Miku Expo keeps getting wackier

I've been looking at the updates regarding how Miku Expo has been going and there was an attempted hit and run for the San Jose showing. No one is hurt but people have been taking pictures of the car parts and the license plate that came off the car. Someone was able to identify the car as a Honda based off the parts.

Apparently, someone snuck into the Portland concert which I haven't heard of until now. I'm not sure what else there is that I'm missing out on.

This year's Miku Expo keeps getting wackier and wackier as time goes on and I'm not sure what's going to happen by the time the tour is over unless the proposed legal action against false advertising actually goes through and becomes a lawsuit.

Out of the Texas figures we've gotten so far with the nendoroid, scale figure, garage kits, and smaller figures, I wouldn't be surprised if we get more for her.

Her skins for her vanguard unit can easily be turned into scale figures as well as nendoroid outfits. There's a few videos on bilibili that are gks that would show what that would look like.

As for her Omersta version I think her E2 would be hard to do as a scale figure unless they put in clear pegs or support. Although I can see her skin that she got for the 4.5 ani being turned into a scale figure. It would pretty much all be attached to the base.

As for a posable figure like figma I think they would have to go for her Penguin Logistics fit.

I ordered it off of Taobao where there was store selling it for around retail price and was a total of $230 including the shipping. eBay has this figure going for $250+ and Yahoo auctions from Buyee were having around $230 but could go up for bidding.

Overall a great looking figure with a bit of trouble putting everything together especially with the pegs.

I think we often forget that in the story of the Great Race, the dragon came in fifth because it'd stopped to give people rain. Then it'd stopped again to push a rabbit adrift on a log across the wide river so it reached the shore safely (that's why the Rabbit year comes before the Dragon).

Dragons aren't meant to just be powerful - they are meant to do good with such power, and to help those in need.

Even though Heilongjiang is number one in producing rice in China, Hunan is second. Personally I want more representation of Hunan because it's a cool province that deserves more appreciation in CN media

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.
