I haven't seen the movie yet, I just really wanted to draw this. (Based on that one scene from the first Madagascar)

A shoebill, except it's t.rex sized, and it turns into a robot, and it has a machine gun on its back. Sounds like a Digimon.

You’d think a monochrome character, even a chrome one, would be easier to shade than a multi-coloured character. They’re not.

Another game I highly reccomend - Lost Ember. It's not super replayable (especially after you know what happens) but it's still a beautiful experience with cool mechanics and an interesting story.

Testing out this brush to imitate a grafitti kind of look. Still cannot reccomend Stray enough, how the heck do you make a game where every frame looks like an aesthetic poster?

Melon is a strange kind of villian. I love him, he's my favourite character, but I also want him far away so he doesn't hurt anyone else.

If I had a nickel for every time a show I've watched recently killed off a beloved tiger character I'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot but weird that it happened thrice.

Stray is a fantastic game and I highly reccomend it to anyone who likes story and exploration driven games (and if you're like me and enjoy having a meow button) 10/10. I only have one real complaint, and if you've finished the game, you can probably tell what it is based on this picture.
It actually reminded me a lot of Lost Ember, which is another one of my favourite games. Animal protagonist who doesn't speak, exploring a world while uncovering the past, buddying up with a tiny friend who speaks for you and who has a shadowed past that they don't remember themselves, a moment where they remember their past and get all huffy and you're reminded how much you need them because without them you're just a silent cat/wolf, etc. Although I do think Stray is better, I still reccomend Lost Ember. Lost Ember seems to have indigenous inspiration whereas I've seen quite a bit of Japanese inspo in the worldbuilding of Stray. Both good.
