Time slipped through my fingers so swiftly and I feel like I've already fallen behind... so much.
If my younger self shows up beside me, the very first question that I would get would be, "Anong nangyari sa'yo? (What happened to you?)".
The only thing that I could say would be, "I made a lot of mistakes and regrets along the way."

I moved out and you came to help two days in a row. You had to work later, and you drove my car up onto a curb. You made me push you in a cart, and climbed in in front of everybody. I kept thinking about your students, what they would think of you, of me. We act more like children than them, even though I'm their age. You're across the country and I call just to hear you talk about the weather.
