you're in a dark cell. shivering, terrified, starving, held hostage in a foreign country while your young son was left at home. everything is hellish and awful and this is the worst thing that could possibly happen to you. someone is coming to see you and you're braced for interrogation or torture, you don't even know what
Again I’m not caught up but the thing I find funny about CR Twitter is there’s always more “people are hating on this thing they did, they should stop hating and let CR play their game” posts than actual posts of ppl hating on it. I don’t follow any CR accounts so this all pops up organically on my for you timeline and I still have yet to see a single person actually complain about the crown keepers showing up instead of the main cast game, the Twitter critters just love pretending there’s lots of negativity when there isn’t
Loving your essay in the tags and I wanted to say SO true about needing C1 to appreciate C3... I started watching C1 once I realized that. You're so right that C2 is in many ways the opposite of C1, and that probably IS a big source of *discourse* bc ppl just aren't appreciating the difference; it's all about comparing. I love C2 the most, but I'm pretty sure that's because I started with it, because if I had started with C1 it could easily have been that one. But that's the thing; I love the difference of the vibes as well, it's so amazing how dramatically different the three campaigns have been. I'd say C3 is also pretty unique because it feels like... a tragedy. It is doomed, astronomically (haha) in a way the two others never were. The others had hope, because these were human conflicts (mostly lol) but C3 has been talking about gods since day 1... There's an interesting tinge of hopelessness. Anyway yea I'm with you; I trust them, and I'm here for the ride.
Also I wanna say, for myself but also other viewers like me: so many times when I've been frustrated with some plot thing in C3 (this is my first live campaign!!! I've been pampered with having VODs for all the others!!! Spoiled alert!!!) I have to remind myself that there were episodes/arcs in C1 and C2 that I didn't like/was frustrated with at the time but I forgot all about them because I love the overall stories so much that my brain literally doesn't remember those parts. They're geniuses of storytelling; it'll come together. And I will cry. See: c3e91.
Hi it's me, new theory lol: I saw someone mention the time-travel dock in Aeor and ask whatever happened to that. Well, here's a follow-up: what if Ludinus isn't consecuted (a favored theory of mine), but what if he's one of the time travel experiments that worked (if not the only one)... but he couldn't go back, because Aeor was destroyed?
Might explain why he randomly appeared in Molaesmyr but there are like no records of him for a bit after the calamity? Idek.
Wanted to make this poll because I’ve seen a lot of people say your first is your favorite but it’s not for me so I was curious how other people stacked up! Reblogs help increase sample size! <3
