thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.

Awww!! Thank you for thinking of me! I’m terrible when it comes to sending these to people but I will LOVE for anyone to share their 5 things they love and tagging me in it!

1. My husband 🥰 We’ve been together 23 years now. He’s my best friend

2. I love the neighborhood we live in. We’re walking distance to a lake, movie theater, restaurants, and shops! I don’t even need a car to get anywhere.

3. Horror movies! I watch them all year!

4. My pets make me smile all the time. I give them all the cuddles. Sadie more than Cookie since cuddles need to be on Cookie’s terms.

5. And I guess the fact I work a Monday to Friday job. My work schedule used to be all over the place and with fluctuations in paychecks due to inconsistent hours. Now I’m able to focus on savings and retirement planning when I wasn’t able to before.

A lot of the HCs I have involve doing a lot of cute little everyday things like going to the park, getting a dog Julia falls in love with from the shelter, visiting the grandparents, and just being a cozy family. I see Camila and Billy reading stories and taking in the character voices to really breathe life into them. And when Julia gets older she tells them the stories in her own fun voices. Those story sessions turn into Julia creating her own and then she eventually records them and it leads to her wanting to be a film maker later in life.
