Hello all, here’s the timeline for this year’s Transformers Reverse Mini-bang. We’re mixing it up a bit this time: the writers will be writing fic inspired by the artist’s pieces instead of the other way around! More details re: rules and what the event will entail will be shared in the months leading up to sign-ups. We’re very excited to see what everyone creates this year!
Transformers Reverse Mini-Bang Timeline:
March 1: Sign-Ups Open
March 15: Discord Live
March 24: Artist Sign-Ups close
Artists work on pieces!
April 7: Writer Sign-Ups Close
April 28: FIRST CHECK-IN (Artists sketch due)
April 29-May 5: Writer Choice Period
May 6: Matchups Announced!
Writers get writing!
May 13: SECOND CHECK-IN (No requirements)
June 2: THIRD CHECK-IN (Artists flats, Writers 50% fic progress due)
June 30: FINAL ART & FICS DUE
July 1-16: Pinch Hitters & Preview Period
July 17-21: POSTING PERIOD

a Christmas movie I want to see
It’s very relaxed up at the North Pole ever since the top demands for toys changed from handcrafted to mass produced. Most of the elves are in “qualify control” these days (very important to check those video games for violence, y’know), and Santa and Mrs. Claus are basically reindeer farmers most of the year.
Then, in late autumn, Santa checks his list.
He checks it twice.
He checks it a third time, and then he calls Mrs. Claus over to the computer, because clearly he’s messed something up and deleted something he shouldn’t have. Mrs. Claus waves him out of the chair, sits down, and starts checking the settings.
She goes very, very still.

Hope you don't mind me adding to this post, but the episode "Thunderhowl" from Transformers Cyberverse features a forest on Cybertron. The trees are interesting to say the least.
God another obstacle to my possibly writing TF fanfic is that I cannot begin to imagine what the Cybertronian landscape looks like.... Like as an earth creature it is hard to imagine a planet without trees or grass or whatever but Cybertron would not have that stuff. And yet it can't be a totally flat featureless plane. There is wildlife. There is a Cybertronian wilds. What does that look like!!!!!!! Do they have tree analogies? Do they have plantlife analogies???? What do they look like????? How do world build???
I need to read the books and hope that they somehow expand on this shit.

I’ve got the rest of the prints and stickers to post so don’t worry I didn’t sell out that much haha. Also, I have some ideas for experimenting with different paper types so some of the prints could have new variations soon!
Mushroom Girl is done and ready to scan, so looking forward to getting her up on the shop this weekend too!
Stowaways update: no progress this week [so eepy. got pollen bombed ;_; ] but I’m ready to get back on it this weekend! Just inks until i catch up with everything I printed out.
