I got a new copy of Urbz that came in-box! The copy I’ve played since I was 13 came from a friend in a blank jewel case lol so I wanted the real deal finally.

Looking through the manual, the last page had this ad for Urbz… toys? Which sounded fake (or another cancelled project) so I looked it up aaaaand well they DID exist in some form! For both console & handheld versions of the game.

Though I can’t confirm if there was more than one batch made lol because searching “Atomic Toys Urbz” only brings up news articles from 2004 announcing the possibility that it’s happening.

MedBobCurl (Jayde’s hair) Converted From The Urbz: Sims in the City to The Sims 2

I can’t believe I first started working on this hair back in February of 2021… but I finally feel ready to release it! I had problems with the Sims 4 conversion of it, but that has been done recently. So, we now have Jayde’s hair available for each game thanks to @carversims​ for the Sims 3 version and @joshseoh​ for the Sims 4 version, links provided down below. There are several swatches that came out with this. I wasn’t able to extract the original colors from the game, so I tried making them myself. Some recreations are from the game, while others are additions by me. Feel free to delete whatever colors you don’t like. I also went a little crazy and age converted the hair for teens and children.

Mimi Landgraab in The Sims 2

okay so, it’s official. you remember Urbz: Sims in the City, right? did you know it had a canceled sequel? well i’ve been doing something on/off for the last couple years that’s kinda like that - a recreation of Urbzville and it’s residents for sims 3!

I originally started this project back around 2019 and ended up getting overwhelmed and scrapping it, but with @madraynesims​‘s help I’ve gotten plenty of new motivation!
