Why I think the colours in the MV Lover represent each album
Green - Taylor Swift (debut): From start to end, the two lovers don’t look at each other, and doesn’t seem that well together. This shows how immature and not as sincere her love was back in the day compared to other stages of her life. Also, she kept on playing the drum and guitar (not an electric one) which is more dominant in country music. Her first album was completely country. Also, this is the first room shown to us, and Taylor Swift is Taylor’s first album.
Orange - Fearless: The most interesting thing in this album was that they are upside down. Something’s not right with this love and relationship. This reminded me of star-crossed lovers from Romeo and Juliet - and yes, Love Story. They were just not meant to be. Also, the room seems to have a bit of rounder furniture, and there are toys that represent more innocence or immaturity since she was very young when she wrote the album.
Light Blue - Speak now/1989: There’s only one point here, that everyone can watch now like a fish in an aquarium. Actually, this might be 1989 because of the matching lyrics in “Clean” - When I was drowning that’s when I could finally breathe - she’s actually more comfortable underwater.
Red - Red: This is the first room that actually shows her breakup process, her boyfriend cheating on her, and having real conflicts - but not something Taylor did wrong. This album was when Taylor started to get hate for her boyfriend issues, even though it wasn’t her fault. Also, the room and the party seems mature but also lonely. Taylor alone in the room, Taylor alone in the world.
Pink - 1989: Not much to talk about really, but again, her breakups come to spotlight. Also, she plays an electric guitar instead of a traditional one from the green room. This was her first “POP” album (Red was country pop?) and shows her complete change in genre.
Dark Blue - reputation: She is alone in the room for the first 2 min and 40 sec in this room. This kind of hints both at her short and bad relationships with her boyfriends, and also herself not meeting a lot of different people, public, or the media. But then she meets her lover, Joe and they have a great time.
Dark room with memories - Lover: She looks back at all those times before. The good memories go into the tape, the bad memories go into the box. Again, she meets her lover and is happy together. Also, as this is the latest album, it is the last room Taylor goes into.

I think cruel summer is like getaway car and wildest dream’s baby.
As soon as I heard the first beat, I was reminded of getaway car but as the song progresses, it certainly has wildest dream’s vibes.
