thank you!! it was honestly so nerve-wracking because I've almost accidentally said it so many times and I was like 'now is my chance' when I thought she was dead asleep 😅 but she woke up immediately afterwards and I tried convincing her it was a dream since I was really nervous that she didn't feel the same way yet. it took a lot of coaxing, but I eventually admitted to what I said and she said it back! and we've said it a few times since then, so I'm just really glad it worked out and I didn't scare her off or anything

I said I love you to my girlfriend for the first time when I thought she was asleep but her eyes shot wide open after I said it and I got SO ANXIOUS after it happened and ahhhhh
#she kept asking what i said#because i whispered it so quietly and idk how she heard it#she just looked so adorable because she fell asleep on me at the drive in movie theater#and i just couldnt resist saying it#so that's how my new year's eve went
