Well if it's cold sweet tea I can't imagine it would, but if it's hot I don't see why not.
Tumblr media
Question — If I put a lemon flavored jellybean into my sweet tea, would it melt down and make my tea taste like lemons? Or would it just fuck it up?

Music, but please don't count me out for that. I love to learn too, but I'm just really bad at taking in all the general education subjects. I did take an interest in astronomy when it was covered in my science course last term but I would never be able to focus on the subject to truly appreciate it.
Tumblr media
But I’m sure you excel in your field of expertise, which is…?
Tumblr media
Aw, thank you, that’s very kind. I think anybody who’s interested in learning in general these days deserves a major applause. Education is becoming less and less valued in today’s society where teenagers are more concerned with popularity statuses and what’s happening on MTV.

The smile on Jamie's face seemed to be never-ending, and he knew that this was because he had Rin by his side again. Even though it had only been a handful of days, Jamie had felt somewhat unsettled by the fact that he hadn't had Rin with him, especially since the time zones had left such a gap of time between them that there wasn't much of a chance for communicating during those days. "You're wonderful." Jamie could have meant that in a million different ways at the moment, but all he really was thinking about was how willing Rin was to incorporate himself into Jamie's life, and how great of a feeling that was. He wasn't sure when Rin first arrived if he would want to see the places that Jamie used to go before the exchange programme and that maybe it would all just be one bright, shiny new start, but the fact that Rin wanted to get to know what his life had been before he came back to the UK was really uplifting to Jamie's already cheery mood. He gently squeezed the boy's hand as he led him down the street, looking around as he tried to decide where to take Rin first. "Well, I didn't really spend much time here in Long Beach before the programme, you know," he said as he glanced over at Rin. "Most of my time was spent in LA, but the first thing I did when I moved here was go to the beach and the boardwalk, so what better place to start than there?" The smile on Jamie's face grew slightly as he stopped for just a moment to admire how beautiful Rin was and he had to not think about how lucky he was to have the boy in his life. Not at this moment, when he was meant to be focusing on showing his boyfriend all the places that he liked to hide away in whenever it came to Long Beach. "There's so much to do on the boardwalk," he commented quietly as he tugged on Rin's hand, pulling him down the street as a sense of excitement to get there kind of washed over him.
let's hope for some love | rin & jamie
“Of course I’m ready. I have been for months.” There was a smile on Rin’s lips when he pulled away from Jamie, but didn’t let go of him completely as their hands remained linked together. The younger boy returned the squeeze to his hand and allowed Jamie to lead him out of the elevator and the building itself. Waxler was far bigger than the school he had attended at home, not just because it had a residential building as well as its regular one, and learning to find his way around it was something Rin thought might take a while to get used to. He looked forward to it, though, and being given a tour of the immediate area was only the beginning. Outside was far warmer than he was used to, the sun beating down on the two of them and reflecting its shine off of his short, ruffled brown hair. Rin blinked in the sunlight and tightened his grip on Jamie’s hand as they made their way out of the school, curious as to how the other had felt when he’d first arrived here. Had he been overwhelmed by it all or simply glad to be there? Had it felt like something to be experienced and savoured, or was it nothing more than a necessity? Following after him, he paused for a second to speak. “So, where are we going first?” he asked inquisitively, leaning on Jamie’s shoulder. “I wanna hear all the stories about the stuff you did here before. I’ll pretend I was part of your life then.” Growing up where he had hadn’t been the most pleasant of experiences for Rin and even though he knew Jamie hadn’t grown up in America for his entire life, he had spent a good portion of it here (most of which Rin had read back in the days when all he knew about Jamie was what he’d gleamed from stalking him on Twitter) and that was good enough for his imagination.

Oh no, I stay away from that completely. Maths was never my strong point in school, and I'm utterly terrible at science. Not much of an analytical thinker, really.
Tumblr media
But really, the fact that you're interested in learning that is brilliant. Major applause to you.
It’s both, kind of. Physics, which is in the sciences but it involves a lot of mathematical equations. If you’re not a logical thinker, I don’t recommend it.

Linear motion? That sounds highly confusing. Is that math or science or...

Drowning in his cup of alcohol had definitely been a good decision on Jamie's part, especially when he was so hazy thanks to the alcohol that it all just seemed even more like a party than it already was. The music and the noise was a comforting background to the whole party and that was all that Jamie needed to have a good time. He hadn't even thinking of dancing or anything like that, his mind only just barely focused on the fact that he'd really, really enjoyed doing a body shot off of a boy who had completely disappeared from his side the second it was over, so much that he hadn't even realised that said boy had approached him again until he was by his side, gripping to him. The sudden arm around his neck and the pressure of the boy pressed against him knocked Jamie slightly off-balance and he reached back and gripped to the bar to keep himself steady as he blinked a little, as if that would make his blurry vision come back into focus at all. It took a minute for the words to register in Jamie's head and he knew that he probably ought to think about what the boy was saying and instantly say no, but his mind was clearly not working and the thought of Rin didn't really come to mind, despite the fact that it should. There was some part of Jamie, a litte, tiny part of him, that was being rational and telling him that he needed to say no, that he had a boyfriend who would be absolutely furious with him for even considering being with anyone that wasn't him, but it had been so long since Jamie had last gotten action, back before he'd even met Rin, and the idea of just taking a night to have sex with a ridiculously attractive boy and the alcohol swimming in his bloodstream easily took over his thoughts. "Yeah," he murmured, words slurring together as he spoke to Cole, and once he steadied his balance he somewhat clumsily grabbed onto the boy's waist. "Sounds pretty good." Were Jamie a little more sober than he was right now, there would have been no hesitation in telling Cole that he couldn't do this to Rin, but thinking with his dick was all that Jamie was doing at the moment and he knew that there was no way that he couldn't take up such a perfect offer. "Definitely wanna do this." His accent was coming on thicker than normal as he gripped a little tighter to Cole, looking at him as he let his eyes focus on the boy and he didn't have to think much about how pretty and red his lips were and how he wanted to press his against them and completely stake his claim over the boy, even if it was just for one night.
we're begging for more | cole & jamie
When in doubt, drink. The evening started out the way it was ending— drunk. How Cole was even able to function was beyond him— literally, because he shouldn’t have been able to comprehend anything anyone was saying. Even though the snow was starting to fall on top of the mountain, it was like summer time and everything was lovely and warm. Although his body was starting to prepare itself to stay warm, Cole was burning up, and it was like his mind was telling him that just because he was a little— lot, actually— tipsy. The bonfire made him sweat, and seeing as though Hunter was going to just ditch him for the evening, he couldn’t help but remember someone that could be waiting to see him. Alcohol burned in the air, along with the extreme scent of musty smoke that was filling the entirety of the mountain top. Illusions filled his mind of little fairies prancing around— almost like the high from the smaller drags throughout the evening. How fun was it to just have fun?
Hunter was gone, and Cole knew that backup was available for whenever he wanted it. The warmth of Jamie’s tongue on his burning skin frightened him because that kind of feeling shouldn’t be happening— especially when Cole was very good friends with Jamie’s boyfriend. Although it was all fun in games, feelings of some sort were starting to become discovered, whether they were horny feelings or not. Blurry images were fading him as he caught up to a boy not much taller than him, but a hell of  lot sexier. Just a little earlier he had been looking into his solid colored eyes and wondering why he hadn’t felt like that before. He knew this was wrong— he wanted to stop as soon as he started, but how could someone resist such a heavy urge? The side of the bar was empty, and people weren’t around it. If the boy was just as drunk as Cole knew that he, himself, was, then they wouldn’t have a problem. Approaching the boy, his arm slung around to the front of him, making his way around the brunette’s neck and whispering in his ear, “Come play with me. I saw you starin’ at me earlier, ‘n I just wanna say,” Cole paused for a moment to catch up his breath that had been lost when he forgot to breathe in. “Le’s go find’a place to get crazy, eh? I don’ see Dollface givin’ out, ,and I know for a fuckin’ fact that your dick hasn’t been touched by anything in a long, long time.”

I'm sorry, mate.
Tumblr media
I didn't know that but I bet it's a really nice spa. I didn't really wander around this place all that much. It's alright, you were busy and I was too. I understand, and we'll have time to hang out when we go back.
That’s fine, don’t worry about it.
Tumblr media
I agree. Did you know that there’s a spa? Amazing. I’m sorry that we didn’t really hang out much, I guess I just got caught up with other stuff.

Thanks, really, but I'm pretty sure this is something I don't want to talk about right now.
Tumblr media
It is a really nice place. I'll miss the niceness of it, but I'll be glad when we go back.
It’s not a problem. I’m always here if you wanna talk.
Tumblr media
Yeah, this place is really cool. I’ve never stayed anywhere this nice.

It's okay. Sometimes there's not anything else to say that isn't sorry, and that's alright. I'm working on it, thanks Jake.
Tumblr media
Hey, that's really good and also what matters. I'm glad you've had a great time.
Sorry.. I don’t know why I keep saying sorry, but I just don’t like it when people are sad. Try to feel better, alright?
Tumblr media
Yeah. I’ve had a pretty amazing time if I’m being honest.

Yeah the rest of the week was good and all. Just...yeah, we'll see what happens. I don't know whether it's really completely ruined it or not. Think it has, though.
Tumblr media
You've had a good time though, right? That's what matters.
That’s a bummer. Sorry. You had fun the rest of the week, didn’t you? I hope whatever happened didn’t ruin your whole trip.

It started out pretty well but I did things I regret and...yeah. Not a good night looking back on it. Wish we were heading back now instead of tomorrow but one more night can't hurt, I guess.
Tumblr media
Aw, I’m sorry. I’m seeing some mixed emotions on the events of last night. I’m guessing you didn’t have a good time? Yeah, I know what you mean. I kinda miss having my own bed.

Yeah. Kind of in a foul mood, really and I just want to get back to the dorms. There's no place like your home away from home.

Only one night left. Sick of this place?
