I don’t know if you’ve answered this before, but how did Fern get to the time room in the first place… like-what happened between three buckets and the time he made the wish..? Sorry if this is stupid, I don’t think the answer to this is anywhere…
Anyways, I love your AU, it brought out a love for tragedy stories I… honestly forgot I had.
Something about watching someone slowly lose… everything. They’re humanity, the people they care about, so desperate to get it back, but everything they do just makes it worse, they can’t fix anything. Until their inevitable demise, they’re swallowed by misery, too deep into their mistake..
I think it’s something that works really well with Fern’s character.
dont worry, its not a stupid question!! its natural i think to be interested in potential "plot holes" (for lack of a better word)
i honestly dont know i guess, i havent thought about it.. im torn between gumbald reviving him with the intention of making him into the green knight and him escaping once he remembers about prismo, or about him maybe reviving himself eventually (although very slowly, maybe the way a plant would grow from propagation, since he was torn into little pieces). maybe ill leave it to you all to decide, because i dont think its very important in the overall scheme of things.
either way, after coming back from 3 buckets, he probably goes back to the treehouse and uses that little card that finn and jake get from prismo in order to make it to his time room, since it's the easiest way and he already knows about it.
