Hey guys
Sorry I’ve been kinda MIA for basically the entirety of 2019. I really did want to get more stuff out for you guys, but between school and work, I barely had any time for myself, let alone the mental capacity to work on writing.
Also, I feel like you’ve all probably heard it from other fanfic writers, but it’s kind of a like and reblog drought. I love writing and I’m not necessarily doing it to get hundreds or thousands of likes, but it does get discouraging when I put in a lot of time on something only for it to get maybe 20 notes. Another big thing that I feel is killing fan fiction nowadays is the fact that people are only liking things and not reblogging or commenting. I admit I am just as bad, but I’m working on it. Even just getting a smiley face as a comment brightens my day considerably. I love reading comments and seeing what people like about what I do.
With that being said, I do want to try to write more this year. I’ve got some things in mind, as well as some WIPs from last year that I want to try to finish. I do also have some things in my ask box as well, and I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get to them as quickly as I used to. I started this blog as a junior in high school and now I’m a senior in college, graduating in December. I had a lot more free time back then, but I want to get back into doing what I enjoy!
This blog has only been around for 4 short years, but thank you to everyone for sticking with it and me as well! I wouldn’t still be writing (however infrequently it is) without you guys. ❤️
