That her love is smothering and suffocating akin to squid's tentacles. That Beforans need more freedom to explore and make mistakes on their own. But, as the Empress says, she knows best.
The Sorcerer | The WWarlock
A figure so controversial he entered the status of a myth, as many trolls of Beforus refused to believe someone as wicked as the Sorcerer, later known as the WWarlock, could exist. Maybe his story deserved to be told, but the Empress made sure his name was erased from history. Perhaps for the better.

realized I didn't post my TTRPG characters here so here's a little bit of info about them
DND 5e
Bergonim "Berg" Aleneld – drow warlock with a guild merchant background; standard depressed guy with daddy issues and a lot of debt that he must repay one way or another. currently is chilling (haha) in icewind dale. centrist. lawful neutral.
Bright Nukursk – tiefling sorceress with a charlatan background; she's a girlboss and girlcriminal: specifically tax evader and document forger. anarchist. chaotic good. only played as her in a oneshot but i hope to recycle her someday.
Homebrew world
Dejano (Deja/Dejan) Izrastinić – a genderfluid sea elf healer. they change sex and gender depending on season and have a neat bioelectricity trait as well as "basic" healing and water spells. capitalist. true neutral, but has affinity for evil.
