Hello and good evening folks! I’m Lavender Wyrzykowski, you can call me Lav if you’d like, most of my friends do. Or call me whatever you want really, but don’t listen to my sister - yes I’m talking about you Poppy! I also have been known as Cure Bluebell back in the day, when I fought alongside said bratty sister of mine. Little do some know, I also took a walk on the dark side of things for a bit during our adventures, where I learned a lot about what it means to be what we tend to call a “villain”. Regardless of how “evil” someone seems, there’s always more than meets the eye, and tonight I’m here to present an award that recognizes those whose morals and tactics we may not agree with, but we can at least appreciate their journey in some form or another. This year’s nominees are Nebulous, from Interstellar Pretty☆Cure!, Shade from Prime Pretty Cure, Subzero from PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure!, and The Dark Land Kingdom (which includes Prince Shadow, Dusk, Sable, Ink, Ebony, and Gloom) from Immortal Friendship Pretty Cure. Alright, here we go, the winner is….. Nebulous, from Interstellar! Congrats! Oh, and before I go, just because she asked me not to, I’d like to say hi to my daughter Maria, aka Cure Palette! Juli, could you describe a typical day of being a Cure before the huge disaster struck?

A typical day of being Cure Star…I went to school as normal, most of the time. Niko and Chikara were still in middle school at the time, so we didn’t go together…but we were still close.Lune would telepathically alert me and Chikara when a Seikai attacked, and I’d manage to sneak out and transform into Cure Star.Cure Aster would join me, and we’d get in front of the Seikai, do our little intro, then attack!It usually didn’t matter that I missed class - a lot of the Seikais appeared close enough to the school that everything erupted in chaos anyway…plus, we drew a lot of attention. I’d always watch the recorded fights on YouTube to see how I could improve!After the fight, we’d revive the attacked civilain, and run off before the press could swarm us too much.It was a tiring life - this pretty much happened every other day! But it was so rewarding…and Chikara and I had so much fun. I’ve kept as much “Starlight Duo” merch as I could, just to remind me of those days…
