Rome, GA – Truck Crash at Hwy 140 and Thomas Bluff Rd

Rome, GA (September 27, 2019) – Yesterday around 2 p.m., a serious truck crash with injuries took place at the intersection of Highway 140 and Thomas Bluff Road.

According to Rome Police, the crash took place when a truck and a passenger vehicle came through the intersection at the same time. The accident caused serious damages to both vehicles and also caused the truck to swerve off the side of the road and into a ditch.

Paramedics were present at the scene to assist those with injuries. Unfortunately, we do not know the full extent of the injuries involved at this time.

Traffic was slowed down to one lane through the area as first responders assisted at the scene and cleared the accident from the roadway.

Atlanta, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident at International Airport

Atlanta, GA (September 27, 2019) – On Wednesday, September 25, police claim that a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

At the time, it was confirmed that a contractor was guiding a bag loading truck when he was suddenly struck and pinned between the truck and an airplane.

The contractor was immediately rushed by paramedics to the Grady Memorial Hospital. However, while there, he tragically passed away from his severe injuries.

Mableton, GA – Crash at Intersection of Dodgen Rd and Mableton Pkwy

Mableton, GA (September 27, 2019) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, a serious car crash took place at the intersection of Dodgen Road and the Mableton Parkway in Mableton.

Police have not yet confirmed the exact circumstances of the accident but did announce that multiple vehicles collided with one another in the intersection for reasons that are still under investigation.

Louisville, GA – One Killed in Fatal Crash at Wilcher Rd Intersection

Louisville, GA (September 27, 2019) – Police claim that one person was killed in a serious and fatal crash that took place at the intersection of Wilcher Road and Highway 1 in Louisville.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and other responders were called to the scene of the accident yesterday morning, where they found that a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer had been involved in an accident.

The driver of the passenger vehicle passed another car and struck a tractor-trailer in the other lane head-on. They may not have seen the truck coming at the time.

Griffin, GA – One Airlifted After Car Crash at 19/41 Bypass

Griffin, GA (September 27, 2019) – Around 9 p.m. on Monday night, police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle car crash at the 19/41 Bypass that injured one party.

The accident, according to police, tied up traffic in the area and blocked the bypass. A medical helicopter was called to the scene of the crash due to severe injuries in one of the individuals involved.

Macon, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Gray Hwy

Macon, GA (September 27, 2019) – Around 7 p.m. on Thursday night, September 26, police responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident on Gray Highway in Macon.

The accident took place at the intersection of Gray Highway and Hall Street. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene, where they found that the pedestrian had been crossing the street from east to west when she was suddenly struck by a passing truck.

The pedestrian was quickly identified as a 50-year-old woman and the driver, who remained at the scene, was identified as a 30-year-old man.

The woman was allegedly taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center but tragically passed away from her serious injuries while there.

Villa Rica, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on GA-402

Villa Rica, GA (September 27, 2019) – Early this morning sometime after midnight, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that happened on GA-402.

DeKalb County responders assisted the crash, including various EMS services, police departments, and more. The crash involved multiple vehicles, who collided with one another forcefully in a chain-reaction crash. Police are not sure what initially led up to the accident.

Decatur, GA (September 27, 2019) – This morning around 6:23 a.m., police responded to the scene of a car crash with injuries reported at a local Decatur intersection.

Acworth, GA – Serious Car Accident with Injuries on I-75

Acworth, GA (September 27, 2019) – Around 9 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries that took place on I-75 in Acworth, Cobb County.

Thomson, GA – Update: Another Life Taken in Fatal Crash at Thomson Bypass

Thomson, GA (September 27, 2019) – Early this morning, police confirmed that another teen lost their life in a fatal crash that took place at the intersection of the Thomas Bypass and White Oak Lane.

The party, a 16-year-old, lost their life this morning around 2:17 a.m. after sustaining critical injuries due to the collision that also took two other teen’s lives.

The Georgia State Patrol found that the accident occurred when one of the individuals was driving north on Thomson Bypass and went through the intersection. A tractor-trailer went through the intersection at the same time and the two collided with one another.

A 12-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy died at the scene of the accident. The 16-year-old and his mother were hospitalized with critical injuries.

At this time, the investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.

Cartersville, GA – Rollover Accident on Burnt Hickory Rd Leads to Injuries/

Cartersville, GA (September 26, 2019) – Around 7:45 a.m. on September 25, a rollover accident took place on Burnt Hickory Road that led to injuries in Cartersville.

At the time, police confirmed that a 20-year-old man had been driving a 2015 Chrysler sedan headed southbound. He allegedly fell asleep while driving after a long overnight shift. The man lost control of his vehicle around a curve, which caused his vehicle to go off the side of the road and into a ditch, where it overturned.

There were three passengers inside the vehicle. The driver and two young female passengers were immediately transported to the hospital with injuries. There was also an 8-year-old male in the vehicle who was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, police continue their investigation into the accident.

Evans, GA – Fatal Accident Involving 18-Wheeler on Washington Rd

Evans, GA (September 26, 2019) – Police and the Columbia County Coroner’s Office have confirmed that one person was killed in a fatal accident on Washington Road, Evans

The victim of the accident was identified as a 25-year-old man from Grovetown. His life was taken when the driver of an empty 18-wheeler collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck head-on.

Augusta, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Peach Orchard Rd

Augusta, GA (September 26, 2019) – One person was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash that took place at a local intersection in Augusta around 9:15 p.m. last night, September 15.

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene of the accident, where they announced that one person was critically injured. They were rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead while there.

Thomson, GA – Two Teens Killed in Fatal Crash on GA-17

Thomson, GA (September 26, 2019) – Two were critically injured and two were killed in a fatal crash that took place on GA-17, also known as the Thomson Bypass, in Thomson.

The accident took place early in the morning, according to authorities. The Georgia State Patrol determined that the driver of the family’s vehicle was traveling north on the highway when they made a turn at the intersection of White Oak Lane and were struck by a tractor-trailer.

Junction City, GA – Fatal Head-on Collision on GA-208

Junction City, GA (September 26, 2019) – The Georgia Department of Transportation has been investigating a fatal head-on collision on GA-208 in Junction City.

Atlanta, GA – Two-Car Collision with Injuries on I-85

Atlanta, GA (September 26, 2019) – Atlanta Police were called to the scene of a two-car accident that took place early this morning after rush hour and led to injuries.
